Christmas is just two weeks away. Are you ready for it?

It's definitely the time of the year when stress levels rise. The hussle and bustle of the holiday season creates quite a stir.

Don't get too wrapped up in shopping and cooking that you forget what this season is all about! I'm going to give you a few tips to keep you happy this Christmas.

Here are a few things you should remember to keep on your Christmas TO DO list...

Many people put off baking until the very last minute. This only succeeds in making you strapped for time and feeling even more rushed.

Put on your apron and get in the kitchen today. Take on full day to bake several batches of cookies. You can also bake several pies and freeze them ahead of time as well. Most homemade treats and goodies can be prepared early and frozen. This will save you a ton of time the few days before Christmas!

What better way is there to get in the Christmas spirit, than to decorate your home with holiday trimmings?

Lighted garland, cinnamon-scented candles, and a decorated tree will give your home that Christmas-y feeling. Spread holiday cheer by decorating your home.

Lots of people don't take the time to do this simple thing, simply because they don't like having to put it all away once Christmas is over. But if you're not feeling very happy this holiday season, decorating your home can help get you in that holiday mood.

Quite possibly one of the worst things about Christmas is the shopping. Stores are crowded and people are grumpily in search of that must-have toy for their children. Keep it light and fun by going on bargain hunts instead.

Make it a game by bringing along a few friends or family members. Give each person a shopping list and a walkie-talkie. The mission: Find the best bargain for each item on the shopping list.

Have the team split up at the mall or shopping center. When someone finds a good bargain, call out to the other team members, "This is Red Bird. I found Item 3 for $9.97. Anybody found a better deal yet?"
