Short stories for babies and kids - 1

Once upon a time, there was a big Jungle. There lived one fat lion. The lion had 5 legs. Yes he was born with 5 legs . He was one of the fastest runners in the Jungle. Not even a Cheetah could beat him.

And what happened one day?

In that jungle, a man came with his net. This man owned a circus. He wanted to catch the lion with 5 legs and train him for the shows so that he can make more money. So do you think he caught the Lion…

Yes. He did. He did catch the lion and put in his iron box and started going out of the Jungle. As he moved closer to the end of the Jungle, the lion did something…..

What… No he did not roar. He started to talk with the man. He said, “Hi nice man! I feel different right now and I want to share something with you”

Man said “What?”

The Lion said, “ I belong to a family. I am thinking if I am not with them, they might not be able to feed themselves. They would go very sad without me and would even keep looking for me for days. So can you take me back there, so that I can at least tell them where I am going? I’d happily come along with you after that.”

Man said “I cannot trust you. You may run away when I take you back”

Lion said “Well I am a lion, a brave and stylish animal. The king of the Jungle! I would never step back from my promise.”

The man agreed and took him back. When he went there, he saw two cubs running to him and sayig “Papa! Papa! Papa!” The lion came closer to them, hugged them and told them that he is going out for some time and may not be back due to work needs.

The man was amazed. He immediately decided to leave without lion. He remembered of his own kids and felt that by separating the lion from his family, he would not do justice. When he went back home, he all stopped circus acts for the animals he had and set them free in Jungle.

Story Finished..

Thanks

Nice story Chief, it shows that love is infectious and that man will get further in life with love than with greed. Maybe more men should read it.
