Highly doubtful. My theory:

Ron gets killled which pushes Harry over the edge causing him to go after Voldemort. During the duel, Harry realizes that HE has to sacrifice himself to end it all agreeing with Rowlings love theory.

Harry gives himself up for the greater good.

The fact that Voldemort comes back to life only by the life running through Harry's blood, this making him part of Harry and allowing him to touch Harry now according to the Goblet of Fire. And based off of the wild theories hinted in the books that the only way evil exists, and good exists is together hinting that both must live to survive, or both need to die to end. I say now that Harry is part Voldemort do to the story line in Chamber of Secrets (Voldemort transfered some of his powers to Harry the night he got the scar), and Voldemort is part Harry by using his blood to come back to life in Goblet of Fire, only one needs to die for both to be dead. There for, Harry lives, Voldemort dies and all is right in the Wizarding World. :D

Here's My opinion on snape. He has to be good. First of all i think that him and albus planned it all to throw off voldemort. And remember, Albus's Patronus is a Pheonix, which can be reborn. I think Albus will be back in the 7th book and him, harry, hermione, ron, and ginny will team up and destroy voldemort.

oh what a bogus ending. i don't believe a word of any of it. of course people are going to lie and makeup what they think could be the ending and claim they are an amazing hacker. but get real. the book comes out soon, and we will know for sure. And why would hagrid and hermione be the ones who die. We can clearly eliminate one, concidering the prophecy which is what the book is about - one of the main characters HAS to be harry or voldemort. so the only real question is who else dies? And honestly, i doubt its ron or hermione, i think that would ruin the series.

Okay - I'm finally going to post my theory somewhere. I agree with most other people that Snape is a friend and the conversation between him and Dumbledore was Snape saying he didn't want to kill AD and AD reminding him of his promise. AD had known from the beginning of book 6 that he was going to die - reread it and see if you don't agree.

Here's the part I haven't seen anywhere else - Harry himself is not a horcrux, but his scar is. The scar will be somehow removed (possibly by Snape?), but Harry will have to sacrifice his magic when the scar is removed.

Stacey, Snape never did cast spells on Harry he only repelled them. Snape is definately good and will play a major part in helping Harry destroy Voldemort. Dumbledore definately planned his death and I think he will still make contact with Harry. Ginny will die when she tries to protect Harry. Mundungus has the horcrux after he took thinks from Sirius' housh where Regulus once lived. (R.A.B.) Neville will play a big part in the last book. I think he will kill Bellatrix and you never know there's nothing saying Harry 'definately' is the Chosen One. Neville might be and it might be him who dies for Voldemort to die. I don't think Harry is a horcrux but I think something important to him is. What is the the Deathly Hallows? I think it is like a heaven for wizards and witches. I also think that Dudley is a wizard and he will help protect Harry when Harry will get attacked at the Dursleys as the protection at the house has worn off. I think that Harry is one of the horcruxes but to kill voldermort he creates his own horcrux but his soul isn't split because to do the spell he had to think of LOVE so this stopeed it from happening. The horcrux may be the golden snitch that GINNY caught the year before to win the house cup. The snitch may then fly off and be destroyed but not effecting Harry because his soul never split anyway. I also think that this will all happen in that death room where sirius died. Then I believe that Snape will have a scrap but only get knocked out and then end up in Azkaban. Also i think that Malfoy turns good and tries to help to save his own life. And that Dudley is a wizard and ends up joining in the battle ! And maybe Lupin and Tonks may also die but if they do i think they will die together and I think that Harry will somehow meet his parents ! Maybe in some sort of weird real life memory that Dumbledoor could have created ! But they live forever more with Ginny maybe marrying Harry and them living in Godrics Hollow where Harry's parents lived !

I think that something is so obvious but noone has mentioned it - Snape is good BECAUSE, in the book it is mentioned by Bellatrix and in the movie by Voldemort - "you have to MEAN an unforgivable curse and really want to cause pain for it to work". Therefore, Dumbledore is not really dead because Snape did not mean it to be so. Also Dumbledore and the table burst into flames at the end just like a phoenix does and then comes back in better health as Dumbledore will. Dumbledore also said that he thought that Voldemort was saving the last (7th) horcrux for Harry's death which did not happen so there are either only 6 horcruxes or Harry/his scar is the 7th. I do not think that Dudley has any magical talent but Aunt Petunia may. As for who dies, I hope it will not be Harry and I think that there would be an upheaval if he died and people will be so upset that they will make JK's life hell with letters of devastation etc. We'll just have to wait and see...

It's extremely doubtful that Merope can be Lily and Petunia's Mother. According to HBP she died right after giving birth to Tom Riddle, for one.

Pg. 266

-Mrs. Cole: "Nasty night. And this girl, not much older than I was myself at the time, came staggering up the front steps. Well, she wasn't the first. We took her in, and she had the baby within the hour. And she was dead in another hour."

And two, I doubt she had TWO before Voldemort. This is suggested because there was not enough time to do have that many children... it was only about 18-20 months (maybe two births, but Lilly and Petunia weren't twins...unless that is to be revealed). As Dumbledore so kindly points out on page 214.

-Dumbledore: "You see, within a few months of their runaway marriage, Tom Riddle reappeared at the manor house in Little Hangleton without his wife. The rumor flew around the neighborhood the he was talking of being 'hoodwinked' and 'taken in.' What he meant, I am sure, is that he had been under an enchantment that had now lifted, though I daresay he did not use those precise words for fear of being thought insane. When they heard what he was saying, however, the villagers guessed that Merope had lied to Tom Riddle, pretending that she was going to have his baby, and that he married her for this reason."

-Harry: "But she did have his baby?"

-Dumbledore: "But not until a year after they were married. Tom Riddle left her while she was still pregnant."

And yes, Dumbledore's body is dead. JKR said so in an interview a few months back, look it up. BUT. He's in a painting, as is verified in HBP.

Can we do some simple math to figure out if the possibility is that Merope had 2 daughters. How old are Petunia and Lily. Are they younger or older than Tom Riddle. I don't think it really states it directly. Hagrid was at school with Tom. Was Tom older or younger than Snape, Lily, James and Sirius? I do not remember anything that would give us that info. If they are younger it is not possible since Merope died. If they are older, than it would be possible but then Merope had to have given them up for adoption because Lily's parents were alive when she got the letter to Hogwarts as Petunia said that they were so proud there would be a witch in the family and did not see her for what Petunia saw her for. So unless Lily was adopted into her muggle family and is not really a muggle, the theory of them being Merope's daughters is flawed.

Assuming witches are HUMAN, that leaves room for two kids max, but it's most likely just the one. Simple math, no?

There is only One Flaw. J.K. has stated that the last word of the book is "scar", but this isn't the case in this book.

So, either J.K. was lying (which i doubt very much) or the person who has done this has wrote a 750 page story, printed it, made it into a book and added some nice small details (the ones writers usually put at the front/end of books)

Now that it seems it MAY BE a FAKE, i'm nto going to read anymore. I only have until Friday to wait.

How far ahead in the future do you think the book goes. I don't think Malfoy would make a teacher. The only person who seemed to like him at the school was Snape, and of course he has shown his colours now and no one would trust him. Plus, Malfoy didn't seem very intelligent. Actually, that's a lie because in Half Blood Prince he came with that GREAT plan of bringing the Death Eaters.

I am finally gonna put my opinion somewhere where people can read it! I think that Harry is not a horcrux but his scar is and when he has to remove it he loses his magical powers, whether it be all of them or only some of them, but i think it will only be the powers that assosciate him with voldemort. I also think that all of you are wrong when you say that merope gave birth to Petunia and Lily. I don't think that Harry is related to voldemort. I also think that harry is the heir to Gryffindor and that Neville will come back to teach herbology. The hacker is a total fake because that is definately not JKR writing style and that Voldemort will die and Ginny will die, protecting Harry. I am very curious about what is so important about Harry and Lily's eyes and I am very excited to find out about Lily and James's past. And what happened to Sirius's 2 way mirror and his flying motorbike. I think that Grawp will play a role in the last book aswell.

all i have to say is that the people who post comments on this site truly need to go back to school and relearn the rules of spelling and grammar of the english language. Besides that many theories on this site are quite possible, although some are quite ridiculous. Neville most likely becomes professor of herbology, Dumbledore is in fact dead, however death does not necessarily mean he is absent from the book. two major character dies... meaning the first major character which everyone knows is the main protogonist HARRY so you have to realize that he is one of the major characters that die, now for the second is hard to say but hermione, its very doubtful, she and ron i think stay together and the second that dies is someone important but i really dont think is her. Know there is something that keeps running in my head, harry, ron and hermione are the actual main charcters so when she said two major characters die, well its hard to really say. but you have to know harry is going to die, i dont think there is a doubt about it. (plus thats the way authers makes sure that no other authers keep making stories of there books, by killing the main protogonist, she did say this is the last book)

i think the two major carictors that die will be Ron and Voldemort. Sirus will return and Harry will kill Belitrix and all the death eaters will go to azkaban. My sister and I decided that Harry will kill Voldemort because Harry and Voldemort will both use Avad Kadabra on eachother but Harry's will be more powerfull because he has all the anger from Voldemort killing so many people that Harry cares about. Then he also has liove and friendship. So evenchuly Harry;s will progress towds Voldemort and kill him. The part about the Snake being a horcrux, that's true. Dumbledore and Harry figured that one out already in the last book. That was agreed. That is how the Snake is very loyal. No other explanation.

The theory about Siriu's brother is good. I had not thought about that one, but the initial's do match up. And Regulus did try and leave Voldermort. The story of him being killed could have been a cover up.

But if Voldermort want's you dead. He certainly would have been. I think Regulus is dead by now, but i do think that he may have been the one.

But, the person who knew about the Horcrux would of had to of done alot of History. As Dumbledore, Voldermort and Slughorn?? was the only people to know. And Dumbledore only knew because he was very suspicious of him right from the Start, so he digged it up. But everyone loved Voldermort at school.

I dunno what i'm saying. I'm fed up of thinking of theories. I'm just gonna wait for the book.

i just finished reading a leaked copy, someone took pictures of every page of the book and posted them on a torrent site. so heres what really happens, dont read this if you dont want to know.

snape is killed by voldemort while harry watches from hiding, before he dies he giver harry his memories to use in the pensieve. harry discovers that dumbledores death was planned between the two of them(snape is on harrys side) as dd was already dying, harry discoversa that he is one of the horcruxes and has to die for vold to die.voldermort "kills" harry, but he comes back(explanation is way too complicated) they have a final showdown harry kills vold. its over, except for epilogue 19 years later harry and ginny married, everyone happy.

Omg I hope that spoiler above wasn't true, the one about Mad eye and all of them dying. The theory about Merope having Petunia and Lily is kinda good and the one about Haryy living as a muggle are okay but all of these have some kinda loophole in it. NO Petunia does not do magic, this is stated by J.k. Rowling herself. The theory that Dudley is magical makes sense. This would explain why Petunia has always wanted Harry distant from him.I do not believe Neville will be a professor because J.K. also stated that a character will become a professor, but not one you would expect. Personally, I think that Harry and Voldemort are going to have a battle to the death. The prophecy clearly states that neither can live if the other is dead. So, in order for Voldemort to bite the dust, (which i do believe will happen), Harry has to die as well. As for the whole Hermione dying thing, I really dont think that would happen. JK seems to be a supporter of girl power, and with Hermione being one of the only girls, I find this theory highly unlikely.

I just finished the book. And all the spoilers are wrong. JK Rowling introduces a new character named Gabriel who is a religious nutcase witch that works for voldemart. Gabriel befriends harry at hogwarts and then leads them into a trap. Ron sacrifices himself to save hermione and harry, then using ron for a shield harry destroys Gabriel. Following snape back to the bad guy's hideout, harry and hermione pull off a butch cassidy and the sundance kid maneuver and destroy all the deatheaters, including voldemart. Dumbledore and sirius return from the dead. Harry proposes to hermione and the book ends with hermione feeling harry's scar on their honeymoon beach.

hagrid doesnt die. i was sooo upset when fred died, though. i felt like i was going to vomit or pass out after i read it. ive just grown soo attached to fred and george weasley. percy's reaction to his younger brother being dead was soo sad. he refused to let go of his body. poor george, first, he loses and ear, next, his closest friend and brother. JK last mentioned him kneeling at the head of his deceased brother.i had to take a few minutes to regain myself after that.

basically, lupin and tonks marry and have a baby called ted tonks after tonks' dad. Tonks and lupin die durin the fight and stuff like that. Dumbledore is definitley dead. No,. he wont be resurrected. ok just so everyone knows--these losers who are saying ron and hermione die need to GET A LIFE! Yess...Harry was a horcrux!! When Voldemort tried to kill Harry when he was a baby somehow a piece of his soul became part of Harry. They destroyed 5 of the 7 horcruxes and then Voldemort tries to kill Harry but it destroys the horcrux inside him and he lives. Then Neville kills Nagini (the snake) with the sword of Gryffindor. and Voldemort tries to kill harry again but the spell backfires and kills himself. and 19 years later Harry and Ginny get married and have 3 kids, Lily, Albus and James. Ok people don't listen to any spoilers if you want a good one there's one on Wikipedia it's an overview of the whole book, I just finished the book and then checked to see if the overview on Wikipedia was right and it is. Everything you read on this page is fake for the most part. Voldemort dies, Harry kinda half dies I guess and comes back (he was a horcrux) and Harry marries Ginny and Ron marries Hermione. Snape is a good guy and the whole thing in the 6th book where Snape kills Dumbledore was all planned in secret by Snape and Dumbledore because Dumbledore was cursed by a horcrux (The Ressurection Stone) and was going to die anyway, he figured if Snape killed him he would be the master of Dumbledore's wand (The Elder Wand) but since Draco disarmed Dumbledore technically he beat Dumbledore so it was Draco's wand but then Harry beat Draco so Harry was the true owner of the wand and when Voldemort tried to kill Harry with it in the end, it protected it's master and Voldemort's killing curse backfired and killed him instead of Harry.

Why Harry is connected to Voldemort:

The night Voldemort tried to kill Harry Potter as a baby, something went wrong. The love that his mother had for him protected him and the spell back fired at Voldemort. At that time, Voldemort had already torn his soul into 6 Horcruxes which caused it to be very unstable. From this, a part of Voldemorts soul broke off and attached itself to the only living thing in the room ( Harry Potter ). That is the reason Harry hurts when Voldemort is near, or angry, he is apart of him.

That people that die and how:

Mad-Eye Moody: As the 7 potters flew into the night, the death eaters were waiting, they scatter all into the night and bolts of killing curses flew everywhere. When the real Harry made it to the safe place, they learned that Mundunges Disapparated and a killing curse hit Mad-Eye in the back.

Hedwig: As Harry was flying with Hagrid a Killing Curse flew close to Harry ducked, and it struck hedwig, when Harry flew from the side cart, he made the cart explode truely killing Hedwig but taking out some Death Eaters along the way.

Fred Weasley: As the batter at Hogwarts grew more and more, a blast was heard from above and when the smoke cleared, Fred lay dead on the grass.

Lupin and Tonks: No one really knows how they died, just that they died in the battle at Hogwarts.

Snape: While talking to Voldemort, Voldemort reveales that he cannot truely posses the Elder Wand unless it is taken from its last owner (Snape) So he kills him.

Dolby the House Elf: When he rescues Harry, Ron, Hermonie, Luna, Mr. Ollivander, and someone else, from the Malfoys dungeon, Bellatrix throws a dagger at them as they Disaparrate. It his Dolby and he dies shortly after they arrive at there destination.

Ted Tonks(Nymphs Father): I'm not entirly sure, but i think he dies while hes in hiding.

Crabbe: He is caught in his own curse

Peter Pettigrew: As he struggles to contain Ron and Harry, they over power him, but he starts to strangle Harry, Harry pulls the old You owe me one card and Peter loosens his grip, which was a mistake. His metal hand then turns on himself and strangles him to death.

Bellatrix: She fights Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley hits her with a killing curse.

Harry Potter....(Sorta): He goes to Voldemort and lets him kill him. He has a long talk with Dumbledore who offers Harry the chance to stay with him, or go back to face Voldemort. Harry goes back.

And some other Kids from Hogwarts but are not worth the effort to remember.

The truth about Dumbledoor and Snape:

Dumbledore was a brilliant kid, always progressing in what he did. But he was not as humble as most thought, he did wish to over power the Muggles so that Wizards could take there rightful place as rulers of the world. He had a brother, and a sister. His sister was young when it happened, she was doing magic and a couple of boys watched her threw the fence, they confronted her and when she couldn't do magic for them, they beat her up so bad she went alittle mental. Every so often she had fits of rage where she couldn't control her magic. Her father was so mad he went and attacked the muggles that did it, and was locked in Azkaban. Her mother not wanting her to be locked up in a mental institution for the rest of her life had tried to keep her away from anyone else saying that she was deathly ill. One day she had one of her fits and on accident killed her mother, which put a damper on Dumbledores plans. He had to take care of his little sister and brother. He was mad, but one day a man his age came, he was just as Brilliant as Albus and quite as skilled as him. They talked of becoming rulers, and owning the Deathly Hollows, three objects that if someone possessed could become ruler of Death itself. The Elder Wand, unable to be beaten by any other wand. The Ressurection stone, able to bring back anyone from the dead. And the Invisibility Cloak, able to hide someone completely, unlike a charm or incantation which could wear off. Soon Albus' brother interfeared with his plans and a battle began between Albus, his brother, and Albus' friend, killing curses flew around and one struck Albus' sister. Albus could finally persue his dreams, but he no longer wished to. Later on he battled his friend who obtained the Elder Wand and won, He found the Ressurection stone which was one of Voldemorts Horcruxes, and The Invisibility Cloak which was Harrys. He kept the Wand, but when he tried to put on the ring, the curse struck him, Snape helped him but he still only had one year to live. So Snape and him planned his death, Snape would kill him and take the Elder Wand so Voldemort could not take it. Dumbledore told snape not the tell Harry he was the 7th Horcrux until the time was right.

Snape has actually loved Harry since he was born, as a promise to Dumbledore and Lily he watched over him and protected him. He has always been on the side of good, and order from Dumbledore told him to stay with Voldemort as to get information, he did so willingly and convincingl

yeah, the truth is right as many of you have said. have read the book and i think it's awesome. i can't tell whether it's the best. i have yet to read to whole series again. although, every book has its own excellent quality and is best in its own way. yeah, and now i am completely distraught by having finished the book. i feel like i am totally gonna miss harry. he has become a companion during my growing years, you see im also seventeen. and so, now i feel like i've lost communication with a friend, totally. i may go back in time and relish the past events but i will not have anything to look forward to. his story ended in this seventh and final book but we all know his memory or the character will be a legend. i just felt sad for having to say goodbye to a friend.

u live in australlia? cool my french teacher used to live there before she came here. i would have thought that u lived in britian or soomething like that bc u sorta talk like that but i was wrong. i think its cool that u live in australlia. omg! does that mean u have like never played in snow or something like that?!!! in canada we get snow alot in winter and the worst part is having to shovel it of ur porch. last year my dad made a ice rink on our property and it took a long time to make it bc u have to shovel snow of it and water it with a hose to make the ice and stuff but it was fun to skate on even though there was bumpsin it! (im not that good a skater though my friend takes figure skating lessons and try to teach me but the best thing that i can do is lift one of my legs up while i glid, im just scared that i will slip or fall if i try one of those jump in the air while spinning moves and like crack my head) on person at our towns rink who was a old lady kinda went skating on new years day when its like a free skate a couple of years ago and my famialy and my friends family went there and that lady fell while we were there and cracked her head, my friends dad told us not to go look so i didnt see anything but everyone was talking about it and they closed of the rink (just wanted to tell u that so now u know y im kinda scared about that)

ok so yeah and just wondering wat kinda books u like to read cause u said u like to read and yeah. i like to read mysteries and fantasies u?

hi watermelon!! youve never been in snow!!!!! i swear that is really sad! no offence or anything snow is like the BEST!!! i live on a fish farm (by the way do u like fish, i dont really!) and there is like this heceray building to put the isty-bisty fish in or the baby ones till they get bigger and me and my friend jumped off the roof which isnit really high bc u can practyally jump up on it but we jumped off the highest part into a huge pile of snow, and then we slided on patches of ice and it was so FUN!!! seroisly one day before u get old or something (like 20 ish not that that is old or anything im just saying) u have to go to canada or someplace that has snow and stay there like all winter!!

and for the msn thing it does bring viruses bc the only people that can give u viruses are the people who u are talking to and that would only be ur friends right and y would they send u viruses??

and thats so cool that u can do those pirout things! i wish i could!! my room, well i know this is kinda werid telling u this and everything, but right now i have too share a bed with my sister bc my parents are fixing up the house and who knows how long that will take!! see my room/ my sisters room (who is six and SUPER annoying) will become a bathroom bc our bathroom is kinda small and the bathroom is going to become a hallway (see i told u it was small though it will make a big hallway) and then this extra room will become me and my sisters bedroom (with bunkbeds!) and this other room will become my mom and dads room/office. i dont know why im telling u this but i am for some reason so yeah but dont go thinking my family is poor or anything, we're just redoing and its kinda taking a while. plz dont tell anyone but i dont know anyone in australlia so yeah i guess it wouldnt really mattter.

It's just that in Deathly Hallows i stated a chapter as 19 years later meaning in 19 years later what happens to harry. And i was also not planning to make another book after this 1.

the hp series is THE BEST of all the others. i'd rather harry potter than any others . I reckon the ones who stick up for harry and jk have got a very good taste . the others who critisize this series must know something- wen u cant write a book, u dont have the right 2 comment on others, especially on an author like JK. all of us know that its not real. but the flow and the content of the series is outstanding. i mean, its just awesome the way the paople struggle and the way HARRY struggles throughout his life. trust me, THIS SERIES HAS A VERY GREAT MESSAGE, I mean, u know, jk wrote this book with feelings of her own life. her mom died wen jk was writing HP1. her mom never knew about jk writing HP series. the death of her mom affected jk very much , due to which, she could explain the state of harry that effectively. how many of us get ideas like jk in our sorrows. each and every book of hp by jk is connected her life in one way or the other. HARRY POTTER IS THE MOST REALISTIC EMOTIONAL SERIES EVER.

The Deathly Hallows is without a doubt the best book of the series - closely followed by Half Blood Prince imo.
