Now lets go back to Black Beard whose real name by the way was Edward Teach. Black Beard lived a wild Pirate lifestyle and most if not all people know the story of Black Beard. He was said to be one of the most evil men who ever lived and he died the way he lived. In the end he was hunted down and a bloody fight ensued. However this time the odds were stacked against Black Beard and he and most of his men were killed. Black Beards head was cut off and hung from the bowsprit of the victorious Maynard's ship. Black Beards body was thrown over board and that is where the first strange thing happened. Maynard and his men claimed the body of Black Beard swam around their ship three times before it vanished beneath the waves. And ever since then people have been seeing the ghost ship of Black Beard along North Carolina's outer banks and from time to time people in the small towns along the outer banks claim to see the ghost of Black Beard. Maybe he's still looking for his head.
