So you make music. You been doing that for years. You tried this and that and nothing worked for you that you would call fair. You may know some people who have been trying to do the same thing as you and then they get an "IN" into the music business, only to leave you to focus on their works and projects ahead. I know there are some that can relate to that. Well that's why I am here to write this short hub of info for those who want to do something about it.

Why not start off through a music publisher that's well connected. I mean where do you think Video games get there music? What about major commercials or local commercials? What about Movies, independent, major, world wide? Where do you think cell phone companies get ideas for new RINGTONES? Has it hit you yet? MUSIC PUBLISHERS and (my opinion) AudioSparx is the coolest, freshest, hottest place you'll want to join to get your music put out and heard and get paid.

Now in life you've heard the expression "JUST DO IT". Well if this is not motivation enough I encourage you to "JUST DO IT". I had the ideas of hitting it big years ago and I will, I trust in my ability and I'm not going to stop doing what I love doing.

To make a long story short I had tons of hot tracks on the shelf and I was networking and networking and still those tracks sat on the shelf......doing nothing for me. I had great tracks, good tracks and music tracks I was getting back to (only a music composer/ producer would understand, lol) just waiting for the right person, the right artist and such. I said this "one would be for Janet Jackson, this one for Usher and this one for maybe Beyonce or maybe Pink or Britney Spears and this would could be for a flight scene in a movie and this one could be for a car commercial.....an these sound like great ringtones......and.....!

I'll be straight with you. If you got ideas like that in your head, sitting on the shelf, doing nothing for you right now, do yourself a favor and get them out there.

And honestly, some people will not tell you this information because they think you could take their place. There are so many companies and businesses on the market today that not even one million of the hottest music composers/producers and all their work combined could not handle the high demand of precious gems needed by billions of interested clients all by themselves. WAKE UP Y'ALL! :) Everyone needs someone's craft/work. Millions of music composers/producers can not supply billions of on going ever growing musical needs of more work in so many different medians that it's too many to name them all. Your music maybe needed in someone's up coming project.......? Think about that!

THERE ARE BILLIONS OF IDEAS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN HEARD YET

WHAT IF A FEW DOZEN OF THEM (OR MORE) ARE YOURS AND YOU DON'T KNOW IT YET? Hmmmmmm!

And PLEASE don't listen to haters, dream killers or selfish music producers either!

Ignore them and keep it moving!

The thought that if I help them they may kick me out of the box is so stupid. That is a selfish lie that they tell themselves (or others tell them) and that fear of losing a position robs them of possible connections with people who would love to work with them who may have connections they couldn't even fathom before helping another. My Moto is if I attract people who need help, I'll in return attract the help that I need or desire. Why not be a service and not just want service.

In short we reap what we sow!

It's good to dream but if your not working towards your dreams your just dreaming about living your dreams. Join a music publisher and get noticed. Ask and it shall be given to you. I know years back I was hesitant to do that but as I discovered, if I don't do something now, these ideas will always be on the shelf.

I've had the honor to work with others in the music industry for free such as William Hart of the DELFONICS, VIVIAN GREEN the singer/songwriter, Bobby Eli and others and it's all good. At times you have to start off doing what you love and working for free. For the ones that are in it for the long haul, it's well worth it. Do what you love doing. There are many sources on the internet of where to get your music heard however...........from my experience I believe AudioSparx is one of the best places to get your music heard and placed in films, TV, Video games even ringtones which is back by major phone companies like Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and many others. Get heard. Get noticed.Get paid quarterly. Get out there and show your talent! TODAY!
