How to Reach Kasauli From Delhi: Fuel Cost, Budget Hotels, and Car Driving Directions
Kasauli is one of the nearest hill stations from Delhi and is located in Himachal Pradesh, India right on your way to Shimla and Chail, which is another exotic tourist friendly place near Delhi.
Car Driving Directions from Delhi to Kasauli
Via road, Kasauli is approximately 300 kilometers from New Delhi and the entire route is a fascinating drive. From Delhi, you have to take NH1 and continue till Ambala crossing through towns like Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, and Kurukshetra (Pipli). As you reach Ambala 192 km from Delhi, you have to continue straight on NH22 towards Chandigarh, right road going towards flyover goes to Amritsar on NH1. Now continue till Zirakpur on NH22 crossing through Lalru Mandi and Dera Bassi. As you approach Zirakpur, take right on NH22 towards Kalka. Straight goes to Chandigarh on NH21. Now continue on NH22 till Dharampur. As you will approach Dharampur, you will see the signboard indicating to turn left for Kasauli, take this left turn and it’s a beautiful State Highway Road up to Kasauli. Though you can also take the road from Kalka to Kasauli, which is a shorter route, the condition of roads is not so good on this stretch; therefore, I recommend the little longer but better route via Dharampur.
