Avoiding Constipation
Constipation is more and more common these days with people eating diets high in refined foods which have been stripped of all fiber. Modifying your diet slightly can help you totally avoid constipation problems. The main modifications include increaseing fiber and vegetable intake and increaseing the amount of water you drink per day.
Would also be a good idea to avoid Trigger foods that for you cause stomache problems or constipation. It might take a little experimenting to find out whats giving you trouble , for example my stomache hates casein protein from cottage cheese :P
Simple Steps to Prevent Constipation
Hot tea or Water In the Morning
A great way to avoid constipation in the mornings , especially cold mornings is to have a cup of hot water or tea and drink it with your breakfast. This will get everything moving and will prevent a very uncomfortable trip to work or school. Simple solution to get rid of constipation
Eat your Green vegetables
Its always important to eat plenty of vegetables , especially green vegetables. The vegetables will provide your body with fiber as well as water to help avoid constipation. Sometimes its hard to eat vegetables everyday so an easy option is to get some wheat grass or barley grass added to your fruit smoothy.
I use organic barley grass powder, and drinking it regular definitely makes my body feel much better and everything works smoothly. Best thing I have tried so far to get rid of constipation naturally when getting your greens daily.
Eating Prunes
That’s right old classic remedy to avoid constipation is to eat your Prunes, or drink some prune juice. My grandpa used to always tell me to eat some prunes when I had stomache troubles and is great at loosening up your bowels. They taste quite good too
Daily Exercise
Of course exercise is very important , get out there and get moving get your blood pumping and get those organs doing there job properly :) Sitting around on your backside all day will not help you avoid constipation.

Fiber to Avoid Constipation
High Fiber Foods
The best way to get rid of constipation is to increase your fiber naturally ,a good rule to go by is foods with high fat content usually don't have good fiber levels for example red meat,
with foods high in fiber which include
- whole grains bran, e.g whole grain pasta
- Raspberries high in fiber for a fruit :)
- Pea's and Lentils & Artichokes
Fiber Supplement
A popular health product to avoid constipation problems is taking a fiber supplement daily. There are many different fiber products out there and they come in a variety of different flavors which you can mix in with your breakfast or fruit juice.
Its important to 20 – 34 grams of fiber a day , and a fiber supplement can easily deliver all the fiber you need in a day. There's a great product that comes in a little chewable fruity flavored tablet called fiber choice.
Milk products last resort
Not so much a way to avoid constipation as it is to clear a very uncomfortable stomach that’s really not budging. Usually milk products will help to flush out everything in one quick go. Remember to stay hydrated.
