Hypocrites In The Church
62Excuses Excuses!
The devil can put many reasons into our mind to keep us out of church. One of the most common excuses I hear from people whom are believers but don't go to church is that the church is full of hypocrites. Though this makes no sense as to why it would keep a person from going to church, I hear it from 99% of Christians who choose to stay home on Sunday morning.
- Maybe they have seen the person screaming the loudest in church go home and drink beer the rest of the day.
- Maybe one of the church elders goes home and every other word out of his mouth is a curse word.
- Maybe you know someone who attends every Sunday and makes there living selling drugs.
There are probably even worse things going on that you may or may not know about.
I ask those of you that stay out of church for these reasons, what does this have to do with your relationship with god?
The answer of course is nothing, this is just another one of the devils tricks to keep us from growing as Christians.
Many people look at those whom they see sinning and think that these people are Christians, they are not supposed to sin. They go to church every Sunday, they are nothing but hypocrites.
What is a hypocrite
A hypocrite is someone who feigns virtue, or pretends to be good or religious; someone who deliberately and habitually professes to be good, knowing he or she is not. A hypocrite is like an actor, a person playing a part.
This is where we seem to get confused, each of us from the pastor, to the elders, to the visitors all sin each and every day. Christians do not pretend to be perfect, as a hypocrite would do. Each of us fall short of the kingdom of God, and by confessing our sins through Christ Jesus we are forgiven.
If these people were not sinners they would have no need to go to church in the first place. .
Why should we attend and be active in church
"Man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord." - Deuteronomy 8:3 Regularly attending church allows us to hear the word of God so that we may feed ourselves and grow as Christians.
Does the sermon from your pastor not seem to be directed toward you every time you attend? If not than you need to listen! Your minister's sermon was put into his heart by the holy spirit so that it may touch each and every person who listens.
Attending church regularly allows us to surround ourselves with other believers which will help us to not fall into the many temptations the world has to offer. Though we are called to love everyone just as god does, We are warned not to associate with non believers.

Don't preach to me from the bible if you don't tend to abide by it yourself. I recently had and experience where someone told me during a conversation about seafood/shellfish, that the bible says that God says they are bottom feeders and should not be eaten. This person is from the south, eats catfish and smokes, but I didn't ask him what the bible says about that, also he tends to treat people unfairly and not admit when he is in the wrong. Obviously, I am from the north, as you will not find a mispelled word in this note. This is one of many hypocritical instances I have witnessed since moving to the south. I can't wait to move back to the civilized, honest north. Stop pretending to be good followers of Jesus when you are shameful followers of his word.
You actually did misspell a word. It should read "I recently had AN experience" not AND. Good day and God bless.

HYPROCRIPTS CECILLE DIZON, JULIETO DIZON, ZACK JULES DIZON, DEMARIE CAULINE DIZON, JENNY VALERA, LEONARD VALERA, JOEL ALBERT ROBELO, JANE VALERA ROBELO,
It is true that so many in the church are living in hipocrisy, Calling themselves Christians (see Acts of the Apostles 11:26) at yet not knowing what it means. I know that the examples that you have given are to the extreme, however if you read 1 John chapter 2 it will give you a better set of examples...choosing one in favor above another...behaving with sarcasm instead of love...many attitudes that are found in the modern day christian such as I'm better than you I did this, I did that, I, I, Me...This is the will of the flesh and all things done thereto are of Vain Works (Ecc. 1: 1-5). Even Apostle Paul had to "Kill His Flesh Daily" in order to serve God with a cuircumsized heart. So I ask the Church of today, Have you Truely Removed The God of I-ME from the Church or have you edified this behavior through your selfiness and the lusts of your own hearts? This prophecy in Isaiah 4:1 is being fulfilled today just look around.

everyone who pretends to have any good in them at all is a hypocrite because none is righteous. we are all just as hopelessly flawed as the person next us so the oply reason that christians are shown to be more hypocrites than most is because we tend to give the impression that we are "holier".
