Jayco Caravan or Jayco Camper
Jayco - Top of the list
Are you deciding on buying a Jayco caravan or a Jayco campervan & cannot decide which one will be best for your trip around Australia ?
Later on I will give you some questions to ask yourself so you can make a better decision.
My husband & I are in an older Statesman in Western Australia with the style of caravan we like best however it is to low to the ground for a lot of the traveling we will be doing .
We have spent some time now checking out caravans from all brands and for us Jayco is our top caravan choice when looking at buying a caravan for when we can afford another one.
Jayco have been designing & producing caravans since 1975 ( I was 10 that year !) and established a great reputation for producing high quality products that were still priced competitively so as to
fit into the budget of caravan buyers in Australia.
Today , as we travel the roads of Australia we see many happy Jayco caravan & camping trailer owners and hope to join them very soon !
Jayco caravan at the show
Jacyco has the floor plan we love!
After spending hours checking out the many brands of caravans for sale at the caravan and camping show in Sydney and Perth we knew Jayco was the winner ( for us ) of caravan design and choice.
We find having the door to the caravan at front makes sense to us and is how we prefer it.
Step into the kitchen & dining room and walk through to the bedroom and ensuite !
There are little extra's we loved as well such as the pull out bbq on the side and others.
If we had had the money this is the caravan we would have chosen to carry on our Australian trip in !
Love the extra's on the side !
Congratulations to Jayco
This year is their 35 th anniversary of Jayco caravans having been made in Australia!
50% of recreational vehicles sold in Australia are Jayco's
Since 1975 Jayco has built over 120,000 recreational vehicles.

Different taste in caravans !
To be fair we did spend hours checking out other brands of caravans and styles .
However after all the research we did this is the one we personally like the best.
After talking to many other caravanners it is obvious we all have diferent tastes !
We could never understand why anyone would want a caravan with a back door, just didn't
make sense , especially on a rainy day.
A caravanner with the back door variety explained why some like them & it had something
to do with where your head is at night !
Jayco caravan or Jayco campervan ?
Are we planning on traveling for a long time ?
Is our trip mainly on the highway or are we planning on traveling on lots of rougher roads ?
Are we wanting to have instant access to inside or are we happy to put up a campervan each night ?
