Jesus and His Missing Years
Jesus was Missing from 18-34??? Where was He???
If he was the son of God, assuming that god created the whole Earth, why would Jesus not go and explore his father’s creation. I love it when the dogma of traditional Christians forget every human impulse they ever had and stick to a written word that has randomly written by non-holy men. Imagine the average human at sixteen to eighteen years old. We want to bolt away from our home, to escape, to explore the world. We do not want to stay home with the parents. With that being said on a very basic level let’s talk about the most amazing human- possible son of god.
Jesus was a radical. National Geographic and the fundamental Christians want to say that Jesus was a good son who stayed in the Nazareth and worked as a carpenter for eighteen years. ARE YOU SERIOUS? At twelve years old he vanished from his parents and when they finally found him he was in the temple arguing with the Pharisees. Does this sound like someone who would be content to building houses everyday without any debate or contemplating over philosophical issues? The status quo- the traditional dogma fails everyone again by belittling Jesus, dumbing him down so that he does not go outside the box. Everything about Jesus was outside the box- he was well read, he had to study other texts and pray and follow the most devout rigorous religious life. Building houses was not his everyday- task. He may have engaged in this activity for a couple of years but he was so much more than just a Jewish Essene staying in one town for eighteen years.
Jesus was the highest potential, man or god- and to believe he only influenced the Jewish people is absurd. So where was he for eighteen years? Some say that he took the Silk Road to the East. And for some this is so hard to understand. Why does this possibility threaten his position in history? He was looking for people who could debate what he already knew. Where would he find such advanced ascetic philosophers, saints, monks? The Middle East was a mess as usual with Roman oppression. I would want to get away from all that for awhile. And why would he not bring his light and grace to the East? Is it so hard to imagine, that he might have something to teach them also. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Yes if he was the son of God. Did Jesus speak one language? No. The scholars show that the Aramaic was his first language. He knew Hebrew because he could read the scriptures of Isaiah in the Temple. He also probably knew Greek because of the town not far from Nazareth, Sepphoris which had many Greek speaking Gentiles.
The church wants to cover up the idea that he traveled around because this would pose a question as to whether he was the son of god or just a regular human man on his way to enlightenment. Either way there is just too much missing. It is too much time to let it slide. Did he just pause his teaching and job as the son of God so he could build houses? Or was he learning himself? Ask a full time monk to imagine Jesus as a simple blue collar worker- it does not work. He was a man or a god filled with a light that was unknown and would fill him up at moments.
Use your intuitive intelligence. We are no longer the naïve masses. We know the answers but do not want to shift the paradigm because it is the unknown. We are scared to arrive at other possibilities because we fear the new world view. It is just a matter of time before we understand the true nature of Jesus Christ- Jesus the anointed one. Remember he was born a Jew and died a Jew. He was the Ultimate Jew, the Ultimate Man and or God walking here with us.... showing us our potential.
He was not a mainstream Jerusalem Jew- who was raised going to Temple. His story is mystical, mysterious and radical. Give him some credit. If he walked the Earth today he would go home first, which would be Israel. So according to the traditionalist he would just hang around the Middle East and not go anywhere else. Are You Serious?
