Lego Batman Strategy Guide 22: Penguin's Lair

Updated on October 26, 2008

Here, you will need to destroy everything, especially a place by the suit upgrade. You can build a ladder and get Batman in a Glider Suit.

To the left is an orange and green seed, that when planted will bear a carrot, 1/3 in the level.

There is a canister under glass, but you won’t be able to get it until Free Play.

Batman needs to glide over the gulf to the other side, where he must face many men. He then needs to assemble something that he can jump up and down on to make a raft. This raft will float out and be the way that Robin can come over.

There is another canister that is floating in a certain area, but you won’t be able to get it until the Free Play time.

There is one area that has icicles and these icicles can be targeted, and then the debris can be used to build a heater that will melt away the ice on the door. When the door opens, Robin will have a Water Suit.

There is a canister on the roof, but good luck trying to get this one. You’re better off waiting until you get to Free Play, where it is quite attainable.

Robin should dive into the next pool to the right and pull a lever. A bridge will be raised that will allow both of the dynamic duo to cross. While he’s at it, he should explore both pools for some studs.

Before the bridge is something to destroy for carrot 2/3.

In the next area, he must take out a lot of men. Hostage 6/25 is here. Carrot 3/3 is also here, and so will be the First Canister.

There are some trees in the corner that will reveal a batrope. Take them out, and a batrope will be revealed. Use it, and then glide over to a ledge which will have the Second Canister.

This next area is the final one. Here it is all about targeting some spinning areas on the big machine with your batarang. When you do, the penguin will get upset and he will throw his exploding penguins at you.

The trick is to use the big spinner thing in the middle but to deflect the penguins at some purple generators that spew fire down below. When all four are taken out, take out the red flashing lights above them. Take out all four and you will have the Third Canister.

You can then take out the Penguin, and Catwoman might want a piece of you too.

There are two canisters located in the back of this area.
