Lego Batman Strategy Guide 31: In the Dark Night, Part 3

Updated on April 15, 2011

Travel toward the screen here in this new area and free Hostage 8/25. Go ahead and smash stuff. There will be a Magnet Suit upgrade here for Robin, and he needs to use it to climb the walls on the wall there. After taking out some bad guys, Robin can build some machines that will suck out all the toxic waste, making it very easy for Batman to cross. Batman can use his destruction bombs on some crates there, and a new magnet area shall be revealed, after one of the characters build it, of course.

If Robin goes to the left from here, he can grab the First Canister. If he goes to the right, then he can use a tightrope to pull a lever, which will make a ladder that the Batman can climb up.

From here, it is about destroying a gate and all the machines in this area, including two lamps that have to be taken out with batarangs. You will then have a dual pressure pad that will spill water onto a fire below, which is your next area.

In here, after you wreck the stuff, you will have some hot things that can’t be built. You must then blow up a manhole cover, and then dive in to get the Second Canister.

You might be able to find the Power Brick. You won’t be able to get it because the ladder you will need to make to get to it requires Heat Resistant Batman.

Go ahead and go to the Killer Moth area. In this first area, you can hit Killer Moth twice, and he will fly away.

Go the left and blow up a few boxes, and you can build a generator on this side. Go in the back and get Robin in a tech suit, and then go and use the control panel to operate the generator on the left side. You sort of have to wait for the current to pass through the levers, and then you will see that you can pull them. Pull the levers, then push the generator in place on the other side.

You will have to hit Killer Moth twice, and then rebuild the generator on the right side. Go ahead and start the generator again, and the levers will be active again. Pull them, and the bulb will come on, and he will be drawn to it like a moth to a flame, killing Killer Moth.
