Lemonade beer is the perfect drink to introduce a beer-virgin to the wonders of the world’s oldest and most glugged alcoholic beverage. Lemonade beer, is exactly as it sounds, a mixture of the two. In more sophisticated places in the world, (such as Germany) lemonade beer is known as radler and can be found pretty much everywhere there. In other places, such as Australia and the UK, it’s called a shandy, but a shandy does not share the national popularity of the radler.
For us non-Europeans, don’t lose hope! You may not be able to buy radler outside of Germany (at least, I couldn’t) but you can, I discovered, very easily make it.
Things you’ll need
1)Beer
2)Lemonade.
I would suggest buying the cheapest beer you can find. It doesn’t matter what it tastes like, because the lemonade will mask most of the disgusting. (Lemonade beer is incidentally perfect for the penniless college student as well. Take note)
Some people do a 1:1 ratio, but I find this is often too sweet, especially if you’re using North American lemonade. All your beer really needs is a touch of lemonade. A 5:1 beer: lemonade ratio should do you fine.
If you’re looking for something even more different, you could try substituting the lemonade for ginger beer or some sort of lemon-lime soda like Sprite. Those are also good options for improving the taste of your below-average beer.

haha
...I dont get it
Beer with lemonade is also rather popular round here -- some like it for the taste, since the lemonade takes the "bitterness" off the beer, and some drink it to tame the beer beast a little bit. That'd be my ase, if I know the night is going to be long, I may kick it off with a tamed down beast :-)
