My Valentine’s Day Wish List

Updated on January 10, 2016

I wish I will receive any of these this Valentine’s Day.

Christmas is barely over and yet we are now fast heading towards another “love” holiday: the Valentine’s Day. This is the time when we see flowers, chocolates, stuffed toys being bought by people right out of the stores to be given to their loved ones or “special someone”.

Flowers seem to be the number one gift during this time. In fact, here in my country, the prices of flowers (especially roses) go up by almost 100% during this time. It is the choice of gift, even if you are just giving it to a close friend (a close male friend of mine used to give all of us, his female friends, a single red rose during Valentine’s Day, isn’t he sweet?).

Personally, I would love to receive roses during Valentine’s Day. But then again, I would love to receive any of the following gifts during Valentine’s Day (take note: roses are not one of them). What about you, what is your wish list for this Valentine’s Day?

Perfume

I’m not much of a perfume girl but I am still one of those who would really appreciate being given one for Valentine’s Day. More specifically, I would love to receive the Green Tea Perfume by Elizabeth Arden for Women. I haven’t had any success finding this perfume here but I have tried it before and I really like it’s light and refreshing scent. So first on my wish list – Green Tea Perfume by Elizabeth Arden for Women. If I can’t have one, a Davidoff Cool Water for Women will do.

Roses

With an emphasis on the “s”. I did say a rose is not part of my wish list, didn’t I? But roses are definitely part of the list. I love them when they are not yet in full bloom so that I can watch them. The color? Well, red is usually the color for Valentine’s, but hey, I’m not picky. Pink roses, yellow roses, even white roses, just send them to me and I will greatly appreciate all of them.

Chocolates

Okay, I admit, I’m a chocoholic. I love chocolates (except for those minty ones or those with raisins). Since I love them, I naturally included them in this list. And since, they’re very easy to buy, I don’t see why I won’t receive any on Valentine’s Day (am I sounding like a spoiled brat now?).

Coffee Beans

I’m a coffee drinker (aside from being a chocoholic). I drink two cups a day and since brewed coffee is not the norm here, I take them instant. So for this Valentine’s Day, I would love to receive coffee beans that I can brew and drink at leisure. Plus, they’re guaranteed to keep me awake longer than instant coffee, which is something that I need for this tax busy season.

Love Tokens

I love to receive small tokens of love and believe me, these love tokens with their various love messages is just the thing for my wish list. With their various messages, these will really make anybody’s (mine, specifically) day.

Earrings

Lastly, and I’m really saving this for last, my wish list includes earrings, specifically, diamond earrings. I think, of all the items here on my wish list, this one is really the most special and the one that will really last forever.

And that’s it. Thank you for taking the time to read my wish list (and to indulge my fantasies). What about you? Do you have a wish list? Please leave me a comment and tell me all about it. Thanks!
