New Year 2010

Happy New Year my dear friend. Looking back at 2009, i have seen my life in a completely new light, my little achievements makes me see more worth in myself and my entire mistakes stands as stepping stones for a better me this year 2010. I wish to thank God for you and me and pray that all our aspirations will manifest this year.

I know that there are instances where we just wish that we could somehow go back and change things but folk, no matter how strong that feeling is, we should try not to dwell on it for the mistake of our past should and will always be a lesson for the present and the future, it should always warn us on what we should change and the kind of folks we should hand out with.

I had my bitter shares and experiences among folks who pose as friends but what these hypocrites failed to understand is that while trying to portray me as a bad person, they simply brought out the best in me and without them, i wouldn’t be writing you today so my humble thanks to all my detractors.

Do not regret anything that happened in your life, we all have our personal struggles but the way we handle our trials shows the kind of individuals we are, the person who i am today is totally different from the man i was few months back. I will simply say that i passed through phases, phases that were invisible to folks around me but i think that the changes in me were influenced by this group. Therefore, i thank you for playing a tremendous role in my transformation.

I can now see my worth and those who looked down on me were so helpful because without their critics, i would never have emerged the force i see in myself today. Throughout last few months, i learned to take things the way they are and to take comfort in anything negative that come up in my life so that i can work in balance.

Making so many new friend whom you are among them and reconnecting with most of my old friends proved to me that sometimes we do not need an outstretched hand to support us , i have grown to a better me and can face my tomorrow with utmost gratitude to God for his unfailing love therefore, as we envisage into this new year, i wish to remind you that 2009 is gone and it did with all our failures and regrets, so let us give room for a brighter us this year and allow no one to look down on us or pull us down.

Folk, waste no time on those who don’t appreciate you, value your achievements and know that you are the one who achieved them and as well, value all your failures because that makes you to understand the changes needed to attain a whole you. Bear the pains of others and try as much as you can to reach out positively to someone this year.

The fortunes and misfortunes of 2009 helped me a great deal and i can boldly tell you that i have picked up the courage to strive for the best and see my dream for this year come true. This group has made me a stronger, bolder and matured person so may my thoughts penetrate into you and help you become bolder and stronger.

You have to accept yourself and see yourself the way i see my own very self, we are simply courageous individuals meant to shine so improve even more in all the fields you didn’t do so well in 2009, improve wit h the scars and prides of 2009 and carry into this year the transformed you because there is this budding flower in you and i wish to recognize it today.(You are blessed).

So as you look back to 2009, think of what lies ahead of us this new year and many more years to come, think of what your resolutions will be and who knows you might end up keeping it all but in as much as i wouldn’t want to take much of your time, i still wish to thank you once more for being a special part of me.
