Are such dietary requirements also for alcohol or other drug addictions? Can one go back to normal diet after detoxification and being away from meth for a few weeks?

Yes....these sugggestions will help with overall liver detox, including alcohol and other drugs.

Getting the liver back to where it should be can take weeks or monthes as the damage did not occur over night. Thankfully the liver is one of the most resilient organs in the body. It is capable of much self healing if given a chance. As far as how long.... and how and when to change ones diet.... this is best left answered by a physician who is familiar with the persons health.
