... Among Everyone We Know.

I wouldn't presume to be the first Apple i-Phone couple ever, but we are the first among everyone we know. And I'll say it: I feel proud.

There was no question my husband, a perrenial early adopter, would, and he suggested we sign up for the AT&T service with a Family Plan. But it took losing my PDA phone (some friends say it was literally a Freudian slip) to leap into the new. I've never jumped around waving my shopping back in the air in a clothing store, but in the Apple Store in South Beach, people smiled knowingly.

It's A Global Thing.

The immediacy of the internet connection and functionality makes me happy. It also makes me feel more interesting. My husband Ronald García, a director and editor, can put on quite a show, with the support of YouTube. Together, we can synergize. We can both surf the net in a parking lot. And like when a couple orders two of the same dish in a restaurant, no one has to give up a morsel of online time. The traffic update functionality helps us stay calm in the car, a feature that may keep couples happy and in love the world over.

The First Picture Ronald Took Of Me With His i-Phone

His, Hers, Ours

We know we made the right choice.I adore is that we can surf the net, email, text message, plan our calendars, and even get directions while listening to i-tunes and our i-pod lists. If a call comes in, the music cuts off until the call is over! (A source of peace, truly) We will still need our laptops (and pay for the wifi time) in order to create and edit, as well as expedite and send files. But we feel so groovy, so je ne sais quoi and sine qua non about exploring the possibilities of a new modality to share our life and express our love. We'd love to hear from others about how their i-Phones enhanced their togetherness.

Hey Girl, I'm still alive, I was just MIA for a while. I was working on a new project that took nearly all of my time. It's winding down and I'm trying to catch up with my cyber friends.

Oh, I absolutely love your work and what a wonderful team you and Ronald are, I heard some place that you are called the "bellos" because you are both so good looking, talented, amazing and terrrific in your field. Sister Michelle is incredibly talented and a fabulous cat Angora in Horseland

Keep up the great work,

Glad you had fun in the Big Apple
