Updated on May 14, 2009

Picture Printer

You already have your high quality digital camera, so now it's time for a photo printer. There are many different options to choose from, but you'll find that your better brands, really do have the better printers. HP, Sony, Epson, and Canon, have all rated pretty high on quality and performance.

You'll find that the picture printers will save you money from having to take your digital camera, cell phone, or media card to a drug store or whereever in order to get your pictures printed. Although, it may be more convenient to just upload to Wal*Mart and have them mail your pictures to you, it can be more expensive and more pricey than if you were to have your own picture printer at home so that you can print your own pictures and have them near immediately.

Once you make the initial purchase of the photo printer, the only thing you'll need to do is purchase replacement ink cartridges and paper, which is a small price to pay considering you'll get more use out of the ink and paper, meaning each print will cost less than if you went to the store.
