Political Ads Are Coming for 2012

Updated on April 4, 2011

"The Frog" Flies Under The Radar

Now I'm not known to be particularly sneaky. Most people know that I'm pretty straight forward - blunt in fact. I've been accused of not being able to sneak up on a glass of water to get a drink. Then something hit my mailbox that made me know that the jig was up, I had to don my Super Frog cape, jump into my "stealth" frog batwing and do some serious cruising under the Foggy Bottom radar.

And the plot thickens huh? I received some inside, or maybe the proper word is insidious, information that the Smirkster was about to release his first campaign ad for the 2012 run. It is all supposed to be hush-hush you understand. Be aware that all my information has been obtained from Democratic insiders, and being a registered Independent, they trust me. Frog Princes do have a way of charming their way through the political mumbo jumbo of life. His new campaign ad will be posted on his re-election website according to those same not-to-be named sources.

It's just a coincidence (Isn't it always?) that his announcement will coincide with his filing with the Federal Election Commission. The announcement and video will be simultaneously released and broadcast via the web using e-mail and text messages for his web challenged supporters, those few that he has left. Then I got conflicting information from other Democratic sources. WOWSER! Democrats wouldn't contradict themselves would they? So I had to delve further as the "Frog Mobile" warmed up for my mission.

The conflicting information was that Obama would release the video and announce on April 14th in Chicago of all places. There will be a Democratic fund raiser in Thugago with The Smirky One in attendance with all his associated teleprompters. Gee, can't you just wait?

Quite frankly, at that point, I wasn't sure what to believe, or not to believe, since it was the silver tongued one I was receiving such information about concerning this whole insidious plot. At that juncture it was decided for me, and I had a conversation with myself. I said to myself, "Frog Prince, you're going to have to take matters into your own hands and obtain a copy of that video in advance." That's no small undertaking I can tell you. I would have to fly extremely low under the radar to pull that one off. But I did it - unscathed - might I add.

Now if you think I'm sneaky, check this out. It is purported that this video will be used to solicit campaign contributions. How dare he. All this is on the "QT" so don't spread any of this past your computer screen. Having obtained the video by stealth means, I can only tell you that if I disclosed the details of procuring it I might have to deal with some rather dark forces that are always lurking around on the internet. Therefore the means I had at my disposal must remain classified FROG SECRET. The mission was code named "Fay" though. That much I can share with you.

I am willing to share the video I obtained with you at grave risk to myself and those around me. They might soon be dining on frog legs in The Whine House after I do. Being the patriot I am though, I'm willing to take the bullet as I have many times before. I know something that Obama doesn't know about leading. You lead from the front, not from the 3rd Tee.

So here it is. Many questions will surely be answered by this campaign ad about his record. What might be a little on the foggy side is whether anyone in their right mind will pony put with a campaign contribution after watching it in its entirety. They might want to scratch that particular blip off their radar screen.

ENJOY! This is the inaugural ad that will kick off the 2012 Presidential Election campaign. In fact, Mr. Obama, it's already been released on the world wide web.

Yes We Can't!
