Poll on Social-Political Issues

Are you open to new ideas,concepts, opposing points of view?
If you've read my hub on my own political views, "The Apolitical Inactivist" perhaps you'll have an idea of my position(s).
Please help me with a brief poll being conducted for a book review I'm writing.
My perception is that in today's social/political environment, a lot of people are solidly entrenched and inflexible with their positions on important issues. The issues involve many different areas of our lives and each of us has our own priorities.
It seems futile to try to convince someone to change their position. Am I wrong? Are Americans more willing than I think to consider opposing points of view and then embrace them?
The poll is below and is anonymous. Consider the question across all political lines and issues from religion to abortion to immigration to health care or school vouchers or tax rates. Please take a moment and give me your opinion. For this poll, there is no middle of the road. You can't say, "Well, it depends on the issue." I want to know if your open minded on the issues about which you feel the strongest.
