Pour the remaining hot water into the sink; add cold water to the cooked potatoes. Then peel the potato skins off of each boiled potato. Begin to dice the potatoes in medium sized cubes, and also cut the boiled eggs into medium size pieces.
Slice small pieces of celery into a large bowl along with the diced potatoes, eggs, and a moderate amount of sliced dill pickles. Then add ½ can of sliced black olives of a medium size can. Sprinkle a small amount of seasonings: black pepper, cilantro and/or parsley flakes, seasoning salt, small amount of garlic salt, (optional) small sliced and diced onions. Add a moderate amount of mayonnaise to the large bowl, and begin to toss the potato salad with a large spoon until the mayonnaise is mixed into the potato salad.
Add the remaining black olives to the top of the potato salad recipe, and sprinkle paprika on the top of the potato salad as well to make it appealing with color. The paprika sprinkled at the top also gives the potato salad recipe a slight tang of spice, which is not spicy-hot.
