Product review Cigana e-cigarette

Updated on October 8, 2009

Yes Virgina there is a Santa Claus…. At least for folks like me, who have had to suffer through the various stages of our current Anti-Smoking Societal Holocaust On pubLic Exhalation of Smoke (ASSHOLES). The assault is world wide so this is not just an America thing though it hurts a little more in the Land of the Free. Now that is not to say I have ever been one to intentionally infringe on folks right to clean air. I am perfectly happy to have the designated smoking areas, but that’s my point there are too many places with out them so you need a product like this one (Cigana) if you are going to suffer through 17 hr plane rides, a two hr meal at a quality restaurant, or in many places now even a night out at the local Pub etc..

Nicotine Gum just never really managed to fill the need to my satisfaction, so now here is a product you can use at your desk, in a restaurant, or even on an AIRPLANE. Yes Santa is alive and well in the minds of us with the tobacco addiction.

What is Cigana?

Cigana is a healthier alternative to smoking. While regular cigarettes contain tobacco and 4000+ carcinogens, Cigana contains just nicotine. They look and feel like a regular cigarette, provides the nicotine that smokers crave, without the harmful, cancer-causing toxins, ashes, smells or second hand smoke.

Imagine being able to smoke at your desk in the office, not having to stand outside in the cold or rain for a cigarette break, being able to smoke in the same room as non-smokers, enjoying a smoke at a bar, restaurant, airport or in the car. Imagine your furniture, clothes, hair and breath not smelling like smoke. Once that is all out of the picture even an Old Fart like me night be able to give it up altogether.

How does it work? The Cigana Electronic Cigarette is a small, light, battery-powered device that vaporizes nicotine and provides a safe inhaled dose. The vapor that the product emits has no smell and causes no harm to the smoker or those around them.

Here are some of the Options:

Flavor Cartridges

The disposable Cartridge holds the heating element (atomizer). It also contains nicotine in liquid form and flavor essences depending on what the designated flavor of the cartridge is. The material inside the cartridge is atomized into vapor form when connected to the battery and inhaled by the user.

The Cigana Cartridges are unique when compared to other brands of electronic cigarettes. Other brands will have 3 to 4 components creating a risk for an inoperable device and fault issues, such as clogged air flow or an improper connection. The cartridges have a built in disposable atomizer allowing for a simple 2 component connection.

Each time you replace the cartridge, you will be using a new and clean atomizer. There is no need for maintenance.

Choose from 9 different flavor options.

    • Apple

    • Cherry

    • Chocolate

    • Coffee

    • For a more economical option, they offer the USB Cig Starter Kit which contains 1 USB Cig Attachment and 5 cartridges. This USB Cig is a wired attachment that you plug into your computer. Cigana saves you money!

Regular cigarettes can cost up to $10 a pack! For a one pack a day smoker, that is over $3,600 a year! With Cigana, the cost to smoke an equivalent to a pack is $4.20. Over the course of one year, a Cigana smoker can save over $2,100! Now here in Georgia it seems to be an about even trade, but when you consider the additional benefits of no Tars etc seems to be worth it to me.

Now for those of you in the War zone or family that may be thinking of ordering them I called the company and they do in fact ship to APOs so that’s a plus. It a statement of the addiction that when you do get home, you get off the plane, you finally get a hug from your sweetie and then the next thing you look for is a place to have a ciggie instead of what should be happening naturally eh?

For all the reasons and many more I think this one’s a buy; even if quitting is not the ultimate goal. What the Smoking Nazi’s don’t stop to think of is that there are many folks like me that come from a family with a propensity to addiction and having weighed the alternatives this is the one that will kill me slowest and puts the rest of you at less risk than say alcohol or cocaine. Thus, my choice to smoke is just another small contribution I make to a well ordered and safe society.
