Once done, remove it from oven and allow it to cool. Now wash Salmon properly and remove bones and skin. Rubbing it with black salt will help to reduce its intense smell. Now flake the Salmon. Meanwhile melt butter on low-medium heat in a medium sized skillet. Add onions and fry for five minutes. Do not allow it to be brown in colour. Add the salmon and cook until the salmon is cooked. It may take about 5-8 minutes. Now remove this mixture from fire and spread it on the baked pie which is cooled. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on this. Whisk the eggs, salt and pepper together and combine it well. Now pour this mixture on top of the pie. Spread parsley above this. Now place the quiche in the oven and bake it for 40 minutes at 375 F. Quiche can be served hot or cold by garnishing a thin layer of sour cream and sprinkle fresh dill over the top. It is easy to slice a quiche when it is cooled.

A really useful tip while preparing this recipe is to use frozen salmon fillets. If fresh salmons are available then that is the best option. Always remember to place the fillets out of freezer at least 5 hours before you start cooking.
