Help! I've Been Scammed!
Since the Internet has made "Our" lives much easier...It has also made things a lot easier for Scam Artists all over the world. This Hub was made for the purpose of Helping Consumers here, and afar protect themselves from really talented Scam Artists. They are, and can be very convincing...So Beware!
In my 26 years of being a Legal Assistant, Skip Tracer, Investigator, Collection Mgr, Banker, etc. I would come upon all kinds of Fraud on a daily basis. Going back to the 80's. I manually tracked many criminals, Dead Beat Dads, and Dead Beat Doctors for the State Of NY, and more. Things are very different now, that's for sure.
The difference between then and now is, you couldn't "See" the fraud being committed, there was no tracking system, except for people like me. Now with the internet, you can actually jump on a trail that eventually leads you to the culprits, and Whammo you've got them. The major problem is there are too many.
This site will hold all the necessary info to connect with an entity that can help, and what is posted here will be for educational, and preventative purposes. You can look up a Domain Name to see if they have been listed as Offenders.
I will also be accepting Comments/Inquiries on particualar experiences people may want to talk about. I'm very Pro-Active in the field of Fraud Investigation, and have a host of ways to help people. Feel free to inquire about any particular scenario. I don't know every single one, but I know many, and continue uncovering scams each day. Which will be updated as we go.
The Links that will be added here are really hot. They will possibly cause a huge sigh of relief...lol Some of these scams are very believable, which is why so many Consumers fall victim to them.
The bottom line here is to Stay Informed, Stay Up To Date, and Stay Clear of what's on the list of "Who To Avoid". There is Safety In Numbers here, and people need to stick together on this. Tell all your friends about this hub, and the other Links as well. The better educated we become in what the Scam Artists are doing, the quicker we get rid of them.
Stay Close, and Watch Everything Like a Hawk!
Protect, Prevent, Prevail!
