Bras For Large Breasts
84
Having large breasts isn't always the party everyone thinks it is. Not only do some women suffer back pain – clothing issues are a constant. It’s just not that easy to find a quality bra if your breasts are larger than a D cup.
And if you want something sexy, it’s next to impossible.
I’m a 34DD which adds the issue of less common sizing to my search. A quality 40DD is actually easier to find than a 34DD, because DD breasts are more common in larger women. And if you’re a 32DD, you’d better be prepared to pay lots of dosh for something cute!
Fortunately, there are a companies offering sexy lingerie for big breasted women. These are high quality bras, ladies, and they are gorgeous. Some of them are pricey, some aren’t – but they are all of them beautiful. Please note: I have seen conflicting info as to whether or not UK and US cup sizes are equal. Most sites claim they are, but one in particular says anything over a D is no longer equal, and that US DD = UK E. I recommend you ask whomever you intend to purchase the bra from, they should be able to tell you for sure.
The Venus Bra by Panache
Panache Lingerie
Panache is an English company which caters to large breasted women. The company is growing quickly and they are expanding to North America. However, to be honest, I’m not sure where you can buy it over there. But don’t let that deter you, as you can easily purchase it online at a number of internet shops.
This line is a cross between sophistication and sexy. Some of the fashions are very daring, some playful - but all are beautiful and elegant.
Sizes Available: UK Cup Sizes D-K
Price Range: $40-$60 USD
The Casablanca Bra by Masquerade
Masquerade Lingerie
Masquerade is a actually a sexy little division of Panache, so it’s no surprise that they, too, cater to large breasts. These numbers are sleek, saucy and daring – I love them. Again, I’m not sure whether or not you can purchase them in the US, but you can certainly find them online at various UK lingerie outlets. Well worth the shipping, I think!
This style of this line is pretty much regency meets Moulin Rouge. Very playful, very sexy, very feminine.
Sizes Available: UK Cup Sizes D-G
Price Range: $30-$60 USD

Miss Mandalay Lingerie
Miss Mandalay is yet another UK lingerie company specializing in bras for large breasted women. And with a motto like "More than a handful" you can rest assured you're in the right place! Again, unfortunately, they are only available in the UK, so you'll have to shop online if you're buying in the States or another part of the world.
This line is actually fairly risque, but I couldn't include the really sexy stuff, as much of it was just on the other side of see-through. But believe me when I tell you the Kitten style is absolutely gorgeous, and I fully intend to find it!
Sizes Available: UK Cup Sizes C-GG
Price Range: $50 - $100 USD
Obviously, these are my personal faves. But, if you happen to prefer another brand which caters specifically to women with large breasts, feel free to mention it in the comments. A girl can never have too much lingerie, especially if it's sexy!

Mr. Marmalade - I bet you looked.. ;)
Marisa - Yes, they're all available online.. try one of the links in the box that says "Where to Buy Online" ;-)
Isabella! Although a great HUB full of good info I still preferred the one about the 'Scrubby-Hunks' (deep sigh)

So true--it is hard to find comfortable bras when you have big boobs, let alone cute ones! I'm currently at 34D, so it is easier to find good ones than it used to be...but, I still have to search.
I am a 34DDD...
and yeah....I miss being a 34 C it was so much easier ot find pretty bras.
Good One Isabella
where can I can them??? Yes but am probably too old for such things
HI.: i`m 42D, and i know its hard to find sexy lingerie at affordable price the priceiare as hight as the size could be.paying less does not mean confortableand good looking.i dreamed when i was38C, omitting the love handles
Do you have a conversion chart for UK to US cup sizes?
Well, I'm glad everyone likes the bras! :)
G-Ma, theres a box under the last photo that has links to online shops where you can buy them, but I dont think you'll find them in US shops right now. :)
JulieP - I'm not sure there's a difference, to be honest. Most online converters say they are the same, but one particular site claims anything over D is different - they claim DD = E in the UK, but I can't guarantee that. Your best bet would be to write the companies selling the bras, they should be able to help you. :)
Those bras sure do make those young ladies look great, or is it the other way around? Either way thanks for sharing a nice hub about one of my favorite subjects.
Now that's a title that I just had to read and look at the pictures....!
I may need a bra, what with all the takeaways I put away!
I was here. ;)
Hoodala - You're welcome. :)
Waynet - LOL!!!
Kenny - I'll keep it a secret. ;)
Thanks for writing this. I'm one of those women who have trouble finding bras that are worth wearing in my size, as is my mom. It's genetic, I'm pretty sure. This was informative, and one store that my mom has bought really great lingerie from is Fredericks of Hollywood, which is located throughout the US, plus a catalogue, if anyone in the US wants to buy from a closer store. :)
Sorry, Brandy, I have to disagree pretty loudly here. The reason no shops from the local mall are listed is because they are not good enough quality. And the other problem with Fredericks is it's pretty much just Victoria Secrets trashy sister. Both stores have some bras in big sizes, sometimes they are comfy, sometimes they are elegant, but they are never both at the same time. And the quality isn't very good, either. I like trashy as much as the next person but there are much better places to get it from. Quality is the most important thing! ;)
I'm a 34DD, and I like Bravissimo.com. Be warned, though, the site's customer service assured me an American DD would be the same as a British DD, and the bra I ordered was much too small. I would suggest going up a cup size.
Thanks for the advice!
Those are awesome bras. Don't know how you find them, heck, I have issues with my 34d!
Thanks! :)
Isabella,
Weight training for the pectoral muscles can help. Don't worry, you won't get bigger, but it will keep the muscles and tendons of the "pecs" firm, thus creating a higher look to the breasts. A 34DD is pretty huge. If they're not real, you could consider a smaller implant (or not), or consider breast reduction in the coming years. Hope I didn't get too personal, especially being a guy. Great hub.
Sorry Isa, my comment was more for your hub on sagging.
It's ok, no worries. And of course they are real, and 34DD isn't really that big. They say 36C is the most common bra sold these days, and that most of those women are wearing too small a bra without realizing it, so the average is probably more like a 36D. You can repost this on the other hub if you want, up to you.
Who's the girl in the top picture next to yours.
No idea, just a lingerie model.
Hehe, anybody who is interested in the sizes of our beloved hubbers can come here to find out. Bookmark this page, all! :D
While searching to locate a retailer that would accommodate my well endowed "girls", I thought I located a true Pennyrich or Jeunique bra...proved to be a fraud. Now most of you ladies are talking about 34DD "too large"...I once wore a 48GG or 48HH. When the home-based Pennyrich woman sold the biz to another idiot who really didn't care about customer service I became worried.
The bra didn't last 2 years AS THE OTHER was 4 years before any wearing occured. It held my "girls" up as if I was a young woman with perky "girls". I was giddy, glad and oh my, imagine my disappointment when I had to give up the perfect bra.
FRAUD: The site I located sold me a bra doesn't that doesn't fit, began to sag, straps are loose AND the clasp don't close tightly. The only positive? It's a beautiful PEONY color (gorgeous deep pink) that has rose flower designs.
SOLUTION: Saw Oprah's show with Susan Nethero, went to site, have a scheduled appointment in Houston, Texas to be custom fitted. I'm thinking the bra(s) should cost about $125-$150 each. Do I have that type of money? NO...BUT, if you want to look good, feel good about a well-endowed group of girls, you got to put out the cash. Besides, it will give me a reason to get out of Dallas and perhaps do some shopping at Galleria: Evelyn & Crabtree to mention a few!
If anyone reading this post know of a better place to pamper my girls, please respond. Thanks, Constance
what is up with stores not having 34DD bras?!?!?!!!?!??!!?!?! this is ridiculous already
Thanks for the info, I have problems finding bras to fit as well. For those ladies living in or near St. Louis, Missouri (USA) check out Ann's Bra Shop in Chesterfield (they also have a few other locations near St. Louis). They custom fit you for free, and they have a huge selection of unusual sizes in shop! I just went, and found a sexy bra in my size: 38H. Hope this helps! (quality bras, affordable as well, my bras were $50 each, which isn't bad for a decent bra in my size)
I wear a 34M or 34 J in Euro sizes. I've tried them all and love, love, love figleaves.com. They are based out of the UK, but have the best prices, quality, and customer service that I've come across. I thin they have figleaves in the US now, but the prices are higher than if you order them from the UK. Panache is the best brand for me so far. Biuggergras is another site I go to a lot.
THANKYOU SOOO MUCH!! im a 38 F and finding bras are HELL for me... apparently noone in the US believes you can have big breasts and be relatively small
