Slanket vs. Snuggie

If you watch any late night TV, you may have seen a commercial for a blanket called the Slanket or the Snuggie. The Snuggie and Slanket are blankets with arms. I personally can't decide if this is the most useful product ever or the best thing ever. So the big debate is, which is better the Snuggie or the Slanket?

So which one is better? For the best color selection, I would pick the Slanket. It is also a more professional website which makes me trust them a tiny bit more. But when looking at the Snuggie, the price can't be beat. You can get two Snuggies for $19.95 plus shipping.

The best pricing I could find online for the Slanket was on the QVC website but as of Dec 23rd, 2008 all Slankets online are totally sold out. So does that mean the Slanket is better? Great question. If you have experience with either product, please let me know!

Here is a great summary of many "As Seen on TV" products that I found on WalletPop with a full Snuggie review.

Have a friend who ordered the snuggie. Took her about 6 weeks to get it, and was charged $5 to her credit card each and every time she called to check on her order. Even though the slanket is higher priced, I am betting they have better customer service and the material would be better than this thin little thing she got for $65.

Thanks Ren, I think a alot of people love Slankets and are afraid to admit it. Maybe you should start a Slanket support group. Its ok to sit at home in front of the tv and veg out sometimes!
