Scattered images in my mind
75At first glimpse
FOLLOW ME...
Forget
Winter's grey skies,
biting winds and heavy rains.
Spring descends.
It brings its warmth and colour
hiding the red and rusting rocks
as sea of yellow flowers
envelopes the landscape
and us
Thick and sticky
the pollen clings to you
just like me
it is all too hard to resist...
Laying down
amongst it all,
a gentle warmth
of your breath...
a cloudless sky
only the sound of birds
and YOU on my skin
The perfect spring day
until the night time comes
again...
The night
takes us back
to the heart of human darkness
Hypnotic, gripping and disturbing
world of TV news
while we eat take aways
getting ready for work
recreate in our dreams
The memories of our perfect spring day
are gone...
LET RECLAIM OUR PERFECT SPRING DAY ...
Let start the journey back again...
Let wake up the inner child
within me...
be out in the wind
feeling the crushing waves
on my face
Swimming in the ocean
sitting in the sun
I am who I am
a girl or a woman
or a dying star...
I live in the past
but look at my son
and I know it is time
to leave beauty
and a sorrow
to leave everything behind...
Let move on
Let prepare for a journey
into the unknown
when my time draws to a close
what will be
what I regret leaving most?
LET MOVE ON
Let move on
Let prepare for a journey
into the unknown
when my time draws
to a close
what will be
what I regret leaving most?
Love, relationship with my man
spiritual connections
with my friends?
Does everything end up
out in the wind
under the stars
on the face on the moon?
Everything ends up
my life
my ups and downs
all my frustration
my exhilaration
all my emotions
I need so much
to report about
I am after all
a reporter of the human condition,
in all its variations
adding words to the art
in the space of the sentence
I describe my loves
I describe my life.

Very deep and emotional. You are truly a great writer. Are you published yet?
Thank you so much my soul mate for your praise. I have published some poems in newspapers and won some encouragement notes, but I feel not confident to write in English as it is my second /third/ language. But I am very sick recently and battling on and I need to write to keep my 'depression' away. It is three a'clock morning and I have finished another poem.
If you have time I would be happy if you can read it. Thank you again.
Wow! this is really something. The story in words so well crafted giving most wonderful images in my mind and then the pictures on the side telling stories too for my mind and eyes.
Very talented. Thank you so much. Love the hat.
I loved the poems and the photographs you write incredibly well for someone for whom English is not their first language, I admire you very much for how accomplished you are
thank you so much for your encouragement Ralwus, I try my best to keep writing ...I have so many images in my mind that I had no time to put them all on the paper and I am happy that is someone there like you, who can feel them, see them and experience them with me. Welcome in my world, my new soulmate.
I am so happy that you noticed the HAT. It is very special hat I borrowed from a close friend, who I see once per ten years but we are connected for life. It is one of the mysteries of life that you meet someone and than he/she disapears from your life, but then your paths cross again by a coincidence and you know that he/she is there for you no matter what. I have to return the hat after another ten years, that is a PROMISE.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment Annie. I am trying hard to work on my English when I am writing, but my images just pop in my head that I rush to put them on the paper without thinking, sometimes I mix all the languages I studied and then i have to go back ...I admit I don't like to go back and edit my poems or my stories which is my weakness.
Hi Beata
You seem to feel like you are struggling with English, but when I read you I get pure images and thoughts. Your ideas are coming through loud and clear!
;-)
Jen
Thank you Jen for your kind comment. My first language is Slovak language, I am a teacher of Russian language / I have studied it in Russia at Uni long time ago/ so sometimes I feel that I mix all three languages together and I am not good in any of them any more. Furthermore I am seriously ill and under many medications recently so my brain does not work the best all the time. I have scribbled a lot for all three my blogs but decided not to publish it. But you gave a strength to continue, thank you.
just absolutely stunning sceneries, and the poems are so beautiful. These should be framed and placed at strategic points, at entry point to every school and colleges, every work places and in the corridors of power. They are so uplifting, just what the doctor orderd for our sick minds and the world we face each morning
Thank you so much Kenny for your kind words, I don't know if my poem is really so good, but if it helps at least one person
to get through another day...I will be satisfied. I have scribbled it down after my another visit to doctor who told me another bad news...I felt that I have to quickly write something down, something more profound, in the case it would not be any more time to write something else.
Thank you again, Kenny for your kind words.
A very lovely Poem. It's like you took me on a Journey and the poem gave one food for thought. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more. Thanks.
Thank you Lady_E for your kind response. Thank you for joining me on my journey...our thoughts have to be made of the same 'star stuff'.
Great Poems!
Thank you. Reading this was a great way to start my day.
Thank you my dear new readers for your kinds comments.I will try my best not to disapoint you next time. It is time to write about Summer time, many summer images scatter in my mind...just need to write them down.
