Some High School Diaries

Dear Diary,

I saw him passing by my way. I didn’t know what to do. I used to smile and greet him but I felt so awkward so I looked the other way. Besides, he’s the star of the basketball team. He’ll never notice a geek like me.

DD,

I passed by the corridor and saw the pretty smart girl I usually sit with during Chemistry. I tried to smile at her but she looked the other way. Besides, I’m just a guy who could shoot some hoops while she’s this pretty honor student. She’ll never like a guy like me.

Dear Diary,

This has been my worst day ever.

I was waiting patiently for him at the hallway; there I was standing wearing my usual gorgeous smile. He was coming by, guess what the heck happened…he turned to look the other way, to that geek I couldn’t remember the name. He’s the captain of the basketball team while I’m the most popular girl in school. He should know what he’s been missing.

Dear whatever…

Saw a ghost today. And man, I’m not talking bout me. It was her. She stood on the hallway waiting for a moment with that dude I hate the most. I couldn’t believe that jerk didn’t even notice her. She stood there like a ghost.

I know I should be glad bout this, I hate the feeling seeing her that way. I can stand like a ghost chasing her but her chasing that idiot like that, I dunno! She should know what she’s been missin’

Hey D,

I’ll never forget this day :)

First I got the lead part on the play. Cheers for that!

Second, he was there after the big announcement…waiting…smiling at me. I imagined him waiting there for me as my boyfriend, not as my best friend.

So much for fairy tales! Because that bitch stood there as if the most beautiful girl on campus. Then I saw his sad eyes. Ow perfect!

My princess finally got her dream act. I was about to congratulate her on her way out. But again, it’s screwed. Saw her coming close to her so-called-best friend. Well maybe that pretty boy’s meant for her. She won’t even notice a dude from poetry club like me.

Dear Diary,

I was in detention for the nth time.

This time, in the library…tasked to arrange some books. Duh! Didn’t even know how to. So I went to the faraway end of the shelves…Heard someone reading, almost a murmur…a poem I think.

It’s weird that I can’t stop thinking bout him. Oh, I can’t believe I just wrote that. A mean girl like me doesn’t stand a chance with a good guy like him.

Dear Diary...

It’s my first day as the new girl in school. Being a transferee sucks! From head-to-toe gazes, talk of the campus, not to mention subject-to-subject introduction! TGID!

Anywayz, if not only for the beautiful girl I bumped into the library, I would totally hate this day. There was something bout her blue eyes that hit me. I wanna know her. And I wanna know the reason why…
