Tabetha Jo Frick: Another Bicolana honed to be the next Bb. Pilipinas-Universe

A 5'11" stunning beauty from Balogo, Pasacao, Camarines Sur...former Miss Bicolandia 2007 Tabetha Jo Frick, 20 years old, is sure to follow the steps of the freshly awarded Maria Venus Raj, Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up at the Binibining Pilipinas 2011.

Miss Raj was Miss Frick's 2nd runner up when she was crowned Miss Bicolandia 2007. When my former radio colleague, Ms. Doris Olivan, alerted me about the whereabouts of the former beauty titlist, I dig a little research and found out that she joined the buns of beauties during the most controversial staging of Binibining Pilipinas in 2008.

Filipinos from all over the world were disgusted of the redundant answer of the crowned Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2008 Janina San Miguel. Maybe luck favored her that night as our local beauty, Tabetha Jo, just settled to be included at the top 10 semi-finalists where in fact, she gave the best answer during the Q & A portions at the preliminaries.

I followed the grapevine at MISSOSOLOGY and still, they can't stop talking about the 2008 embarrassing event.

The performance of Tabetha were praised although some criticized her stature as fat-bellied, courtesy of baby fats, (maybe because she was just 17 turning 18 during the 2008 pageant). But as I reviewed the posted photos, I can see no reason why she didn't made it to the Final 5, even though she has all the 3 Bs a candidate should possess and carry during the contest...BODY,BEAUTY and BRAIN.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed...with all the support that she's receiving at her Fan Page in Facebook from her countrymen, the Bb. Pilipinas-Universe title will not be elusive anymore for her.

This is the ongoing online survey at MISSOSOLOGY portal. Is it going to be, Bb. Pilipinas-World, Bb. Pilipinas-International, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe or none of the three?

Online poll voters favor Tabetha for Bb. Pilipinas-Universe title, although trailing closely were the votes of those undecided. Most of them remarked that it's too early to decide or predict. Only the hired judges of Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. will have the final verdict.

Regarding the Bb. Pilipinas 2011 aspirants, one critic with this handle (nickname), edwoct1026, commented that Tabetha should:

she have to tone up her body, she should know how to be fierce... or else she will just like GWEN (other hopeful)... since they have the same fate in BINIBINI 2008, now that Tabetha have experience already and knew something in Bb, she should give more focus on how to be noticed and stand out... (so there...)

Another user, Anthony I, said that "she's my bet during her time (2008) and left this quote:

Meanwhile, another MISSOLOGY user, Chino (moderator), inquires:

"Had she slimmed already? Actually she's not that fat. She has a body built and height like Bianca Manalo (former Bb-Pilipinas-Universe titlist). But I admire her because she's so witty during Q&A portion".

Meanwhile, judith14 hopes:

"If she'll join next year, I want to see her wearing the MU (Miss Universe) crown".

Fans and critics will agree with me that two years after those disastrous staging of BB. Pilipinas 2008, I am sure that Miss Tabetha Jo Frick is transformed into a stunning beauty, equipped with the 3 Bs and ready to tackle another battle...on the beauty pageant next year 2011.

Her personal life is much hidden in the public these days. Aside from my initial fact on her, being a native of Camarines Sur and a daughter to an inter-racial couple (her family name shows), I had no other information about Miss Tabetha Jo Frick.

Aside from being shared to me on a social media, like the Facebook, this lady is very secretive about her whereabouts. Maybe her agents forbid her to be exposed publicly , this early.

Local media personnel started talking about her and began comparing her fate with Miss Maria Venus Raj, Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up.

For the moment, she's active at her Friendster account, exchanging messages to her close friends (I'm not close to her yet.).
