  • The National Taiwan Museum, the oldest museum in Taiwan.
  • If you are interested in military museums, you should visit the Armed Forces Museum, the only military styled museum in Taiwan.

  • Downtown Taipei, there you can stop to enjoy a delicious meal in one of its many restaurants. The Mongolian BBQ is one of the most popular dishes among western tourists. If you are daring then try some authentic local cuisine like teriyaki, tempura, oyster omelettes, octopus balls, frogs eggs or bean pancakes.

There are several around Taipei to choose from, get well informed as the water in each spring varies in mineral content, temperature and therapeutic effect. No doubt, you will find one to suit your needs!
