It was built by Prince Azam Shah, son of Emperor Aurangzeb, in the late 17th century, It has earned the name 'poor man's Taj' . It is situated in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The comparison to the Taj Mahal has resulted in a general ignorance of the monument.But It is worth a visit . If you are visitng mumbai - it is just few hour drive from mumbai . It is an an overnight ride in an air-conditioned coach on the Express train from Mumbai. There is a daily service of this train.
