Tattoos are popular method of self expression. Tattoo removal is getting to be very popular because the reasons for self expression wane and the tat owners want them out of there.

While tattoos are generally considered permanent, it is sometimes possible to remove them. Complete removal, may not be possible, although many doctors make the claim that upwards of 95% removal is possible with the newest lasers, especially with black and darker colored inks. The hassle, expense and pain of removing them is typically greater than the effort of applying them.

Today, lasers are the most common method of tattoo removal. They work by targeting the ink with pulses of highly concentrated light that break the ink into tiny fragments, which are then cleared away the your own immune system. However, this isn’t all done with just one treatment. The more treatments you have, the more the laser can penetrate to destroy the ink.
