Tea Tree Oil for Acne Skin Care Treatment
85What Is Tea Tree Oil?
Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree, which grows in Australia. Tea tree oil is extracted using steam and is sold as an essential oil.
Tea tree oil has many uses and benefits. Tea tree oil has antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, and germicidal properties. So it is no surprise that one of the most effective uses for tea tree oil is as a natural acne and oily skin treatment product.
Tea Tree Oil Skin Care Acne Treatment
The tea tree oil skin care acne treatment simply consists of using tea tree oil directly on pimples. For more acne prone skin, apply tea tree oil to the oily T-zone across the forehead, nose, and chin. If you have severe acne, tea tree oil can be applied to the entire face.
Apply tea tree oil as a homemade acne skin care regimen twice daily- in the morning and before bedtime after washing your face. If using on pimples, apply directly with a cotton swab dipped in tea tree oil. Blackheads and whiteheads are eliminated quickly with tea tree oil. If using on the entire face or T-zone, just mix 3-4 drops of tea tree oil with your normal cleanser.
Do not be concerned that tea tree oil is indeed an oil. It will not cause your skin to be oily and certainly not contribute to oily skin or acne breakouts. Your skin will absorb the tea tree oil and it will not feel oily. It will probably even dry your skin slightly.
It takes some getting used to when you first start using tea tree oil for your acne and oily skin care treatment. It does sting and burn a little. This is just the tea tree oil doing its job killing bacteria that help contribute to acne. Of course, if you develop a rash or have severe burning, discontinue use immediately.
Tea tree oil also has a unique odor. At first, I thought that it smelled like bug spray, but I love the scent of tea tree oil now. It smells fresh and clean to me. And most over the counter and rx acne products also have unpleasant scents.

Eliminate Acne With Tea Tree Oil
Proper Skin Care for Acne
Of course, a person must follow proper skin care for acne in order to have glowing, clear skin. Even using a tea tree oil skin care treatment can't do it alone. Some of the things that should be done to improve skin health and eliminate acne are:
Wash face twice daily with a mild cleanser. Do not use a soap that dries out the skin too much, as this will stimulate the oil glands to produce more oil, which will cause more pimples.
Do not squeeze or pick at pimples and blemishes. This can cause acne scars and infection. Also, do not rub or touch your face often. This stimulates the skin and causes oiliness, as well as spreads germs. If you have a habit of rubbing your forehead or chin, you need to break it to clear up acne skin.
Keep your hair clean and try to keep it away from your face, especially if you use lots of styling products.
If you use makeup, use it sparingly and be sure to remove it every night. Sleeping with makeup on is a major contributor to acne prone skin.
Best Acne Skin Care Product
After trying tea tree oil as an acne and oily skin treatment, I strongly believe that you will agree that tea tree oil is the best acne skin care product out there, especially for the price. Of course, no acne skin care product will work for everyone, but tea tree oil works wonders for a huge majority of acne sufferers.
Compare the price of tea tree oil to expensive rx acne products and other 'quality' acne skin care treatments, and it is a no brainer to give tea tree oil a try as a natural acne skin care treatment. Very little tea tree oil is used at once, just a few drops, so it lasts a long time.
Tea tree oil can be found in most drug stores or health food stores. If you can't find it there, buy it right here from this site. Be sure to get tea tree essential oil. And the best tea tree oil is pharmaceutical grade and will be clearly marked as such. I wish I could see the smile on your glowing, clear face after your have eliminated acne and pimples with tea tree oil!

Tea Tree Oil Skin Care Acne Treatment Comments
Hi. It's kind of ironic. An oil for a cure for pimples.
An easy to find product is BURT'S BEES Herbal Blemish Stick. Very small, about the of a lipstick, perfect for a desk drawer, a purse...and it's main ingredient is Tea Tree Oil. Like a little roll-on. And, like it says here, Tea Tree Oil is technically an oil...but it is NOT oily. This little roll-on make it simple to dab right where it's needed, so that it's drying properties don't irritate or dry out surrounding areas.
I found you page well thought out and written. I am well aware og Tea Tree Oil as an antifungal but never considered it as an anti-acne treatment. kinda makes sense though when you think about the inflammatory process involved with acne. Good one. On my blog (www.bestmoisturizerblog.com) we feature moisturizers for acne troubled skin so I wonder if the oil would help moisturize the skin as it treats the acne.
In preparation for summer, Aloe Vera lotions seem an essential product. Not only will Aloe Vera heal the skin, it presents a cooling alternative to heavier creams and lotions.
Pure Aloe Treatment, from the Made from Earth skin care line, with citrus and vitamin E for preservation is the best.
You have to keep Made from Earth Pure Aloe Treatment product in the refrigerator after opening. Which is great because then it is always cold. Because this is so natural, a little goes a long way. The consistency may vary, but the one I received looks just like freshly pressed aloe vera and this could be added to homemade beauty products you are using soon after you make them. The high absorption of this product is impressive and there is no sticky feel. You can use it as a cooling hand moisture treatment and seconds later, all you will notice is your skin plumping slightly and feeling smooth and very soft. 100% Chemical Free. . .I love it. . the way nature and my skin wants to be…
your article like power full man.
which is the best oil among them????
its a nice post.
I'm just working on a site currently about skincare and specifically preventing spots. The URL is www.preventingspots.co.uk if anybody is interested...
The Made from Earth Rosehip & Hibiscus Face Serum is EXCELLENT for controlling my acne breakouts. I've tried many more expensive products, even those recommended by various dermatologists but the products didn't give me consistent acne control.
Then my doctor (not a dermatologist) suggested I try the Made from Earth Rosehip & Hibiscus Face Serum and I've never looked back. It works well under make-up, and with other skin care products and I saw immediate results as my breakouts got less and less and now I just have one or two (if any) mild pimples a month, when I used to get from six to ten bad pimples in a month, many during the same week. Also my pimples come less frequently so my face has more time to heal and blemishes disappear.
Even if you only bought it once, this product is much cheeper than many acne products out there claiming to help heal or control acne prone skin. I've told so many people of all ethnic skin types, age groups, and sexes about this product, even strangers, because I know that they are looking for a product that works to control acne. If I had only found it sooner I could have avoided some of my acne scars and wear on my skin. That's why I telling you now; for the price you should BUY IT/TRY IT. Made from Earth also has great acne cleansers, like the Green Tea Toxin Cleanser and other products; including wrinkle creams.
Since I have sensitive skin I only use the Rosehip Face Serum and the Green Tea Toxin Cleanser - best combination and finally cleared up my face!!
Incase you are affected a cream is good to cure your skin and heal all the spots.
However there are various ways that will help you get away and aviod getting acne;
we should get out of wet clothes! No matter how you get your exercise- treadmill, tennis court, trail or whatever, don’t be sweaty or wet. Shower off immediately and change into dry clothes before you proceed with other chores. If this isn’t possible, change into dry clothes and wipe down as well as you can. Always use a clean towel and blot gently rather than wipe. Vigorous wiping can irritate your skin, driving make-up and sunscreen deeper into the pores.
Cloth; You should avoid garments made exclusively of Lycra and nylon if you are prone to body acne since some synthetic fabrics can strap the heat and moisture against your skin. This creates a fertile breeding ground for the bacteria that contribute to acne.
I never considered Tea Tree Oil as an anti acne treatment. I will surely give it a shot. Thanks Great Article.
Good info, keep up the good work.
