My Love Affair With Bissell

There's a new man in town for me - and his name is Bissell. His actual full name is Mr. Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum, and we definitely got a thing going on. I knew it was love at first site a couple of years ago - but until we met on Christmas Eve - Bissell was only a vision, and now Bissell has become the vacuum of my dreams.....

OK - so I know you are probably thinking by now that she has really lost her marbles - she is now definitely out of touch with reality...falling in love with a vacuum cleaner...but it's true....I have and I'm not ever going back now. Never!

The Vacuum of My Dreams....

My love affair with Bissell started a couple years ago - but it was only love from afar since I didn't have Bissell in my life yet. I only admired him from the pages of a magazine - but this Christmas Eve my longings were over after my darling husband brought the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Pet Vacuum home to be part of our family. I was so thrilled that I spent all Christmas eve vacuuming the house, much to the horror of my family. But in all honesty, I was so happy to finally get the vacuum of my dreams that I just couldn't wait to see what Bissell was all about..........

One Big Happy Furry Family

And just to give you some insight as to why I wanted the Bissell Pet Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum to be part of our family so badly - well let's just put it this way........Besides my husband and I, we have 8, yes 8 other members of our family - and they all have fur. 2 border collies, 2 chihuahua puppies and 4 cats to be exact. And they all shed, every last one of them.

Realizing there was no way I would ever part with any of my fur-babies, but getting tired of wearing their fur coats with me everywhere I went, I was desperately looking for a solution to my pet hair issue. Besides being tracked around the house, hair was starting to show up in the weirdest places - and I mean weird. My sister-in-law would tell me she had traces of my border collies fur on her - weeks after visiting - and sometimes errant hair would even find it's way to the kitchen to wind up in places I'd rather not gag on.

The hair situation was becoming quite ridiculous and I was at my wits end to find some way to control the little demon hairs floating in our atmosphere....until.....Bissell arrived.

And Bissell did not give me any regrets either on our special Christmas eve night...

Was Bissell All Hype?

I had heard some good things about the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum, but to be honest, I wasn't sure if this vacuum was all hype or what - but desperate - my husband took the plunge and decided to buy one for me. (And buying it for me as a Christmas gift was certainly a good excuse to find out!)

The results were spectacular - the vacuum has lots of pull - and not only is it strong but it has the coolest little gadgets to pull those little errant hairs out of their hiding places.

One of my favorite attachments is the little rotating tool for the upholstery - which not only sucks the hair out but pulls it OUT of the furniture. Karma's hair can be very wiry and it was getting quite irritating to sit on the couch and get poked by pesky little hair spikes embedded in the couch.

I also liked the Hepa filter which actually allowed me to see the hair that had accumulated after I vacuumed. OMG!!! There was so much hair in the canister after my Christmas Eve frenzy that my husband wanted to save the hair and make some type of Karma rug out of it - I KID YOU NOT!!!

YUCKK!!!!! What a strange man I live with!!!

And We Live Happily Ever After....Bissell and I

So now I am quite content with Bissell - he is never going anywhere besides my carpet - and if anything ever happens to him he is getting replaced because I don't think I can live without him now!!

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum has got to be one of the best relationships I've ever had!!

(and thank you dear husband for making this possible!)

We got the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser about a year ago and love it. We looked for the best vacuum for our money and it was definitely the Pet Hair Eraser. It works great for our dog hair problem. We have a black lab mix and she sheds like crazy in the summer and mildly on a regular basis.

Got to have one of these too it sounds like. Your description of hair problems AND YOUR FRUSTRATION COULD EASILY INTERCHANGE WITH MY OWN. I will add this to my list along with the furminator.

We got the Bissel Pet Hair Eraser as a wedding gift 6 months ago. The first time we used it, the results were amazing! But every time after that it has just pushed the pet hair around rather than suck anything up. My husband has taken the vacuum apart, cleaned everything out, and put it back together again many times but it still just pushes the hair around. Do you know what I need to do to fix my vacuum? I want it to work like it did the first time!

I loved my vacuum until I had it for about one and one half years, now it leaves a residue behind and my rugs look unclean. My husband cleaned it and I replaced the filters and I still have the problem and will have to replace it. My daughter 's motor went on hers four months ago. She bought hers the same time.

Has anyone else been hit in the face from the hose flying out by itself while vaccuming? Thanks in advance.
