I like Problogger. Darren talks about making money but isn't always throwing affiliate offer in your face. He make a lot of money from his Digital Photography site so he talk talk, but walk walk. A lot of blogs like Shoemoney just try to constantly sell you something. Darren just tell you what work.

hi!this is an inspiring hub. i want to be a professional blogger too but i am afraid of the things that are happening to other bloggers. some of them are being arrested for the contents of their blogs. is it really safe to do blogs? what are the things that need to be avoided in making blogs?

This is great hub. behind great blogs, there are great writers, and of course great efforts to gain a lot of money. But there are so many great writers outhere but sometime they don't know how to make money from their blogs.

The opportunities to make a lot of money are everywhere, not just online. And there are always a million punters for each opportunity. The more people flood the market with blogs, or shops, or products, or sites, the harder it gets by the day.
The ones who actually surface as being the most successful are among the first, the most hardworking, and the most knowledgeable. If you can be those three things (and you can spell) you have about 25% more of a chance.
As the saying goes, the harder you work, the luckier you get.

Interesting hub--lots of information. I'm familiar with problogger and visit it often to get blog jobs.I agree with J Rosewater that success takes lots of hard work and some degree of business acuity.
