If you've ever been short on pencils and other sketching materials and all you had was a black biro, then here I would like to showcase some fantastic art of amazing biro artists, collected from such sites as biro art.com and other websites and forums of urban art and concept art.

The detail and patience of the artists must be immense as using biros can be tricky what with the ink clogging and other messy biro occurences, although I have picked up some tips from these biro artists to avoid blobs of ink making a mess of your artwork.

The process of effectively drawing or doing good quality drawing with a biro pen is a delicate one by all accounts, there are a few ways that I picked up through some videos I saw on Youtube which described the process briefly and that was quite useful.

Essentially you have to have a strong drawing hand as it involves repetitive shading motions by applying a lighter pressure just like a pencil, but more controlled as you want it to apply the shading in uniform strokes that don't look scratchy.
