WHEN THE RAINS CAME

When the rains came the death toll began to climb like the temperatures in mid-July. A staggering number of suicides, homicides and, other fatalities began to pile up statistics on our national register.

Truth - Reality - Fact = Rain

A fourteen year old boy in Pontiac, Michigan gun down an eighteen (18) year old young man outside a neighborhood store. A fifteen year old murders his sister. Two boys, eleven and thirteen, gun down four (4) classmates and one (1) teacher in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The list goes on. Death recognizes no demographic boundaries. It's happening in the East, West, North and, South.

The torrential tragedies are no respecter of persons. It strikes the rich, poor and, middle class. It does not discriminate against white or black, or no one in between.

When Noah announced to the people that it was going to rain they laughed. No one believed him. But the truth of the announcement was realized, "When the Rains came". The truth came out, reality set in, the facts unfolded. No more could they deny the rain, it had come.

How many more young lives must we lose before we say it is RAINING.
