Where Are The Best Places To Go Snowboarding?

Snowboarding is a fantastic winter sport.  It requires a lot of athleticism and it makes for a great way to spend the wintertime.  Whether you have been into the sport for years or are just getting started, if you want to know where to go snowboarding there are a few places worth consideration.  Of course Whistler, British Columbia is always right at the top of the list for snowboarding.

This is one of the first places that come to mind when you think of the sport and for good reason.  There are more snowboarding resorts located in Whistler than anywhere else in the world for one.  Another great thing about the Whistler resorts for snowboarding is that there is such a range of them available, you can always find one that meets your price budget.  Any snowboarder in the world will tell you that there is no other place quite like Whistler.

Whistler is located in British Columbia and there is such a variety of snowboard areas to choose from that you will be satisfied no matter if you are just new to the sport or a pro.  There are other places you can go snowboarding as well.  Aspen is another that is right at the top of the list and any boarder should jump at the chance if they get an opportunity to travel to Aspen.  Most of the resorts here are a little on the pricey side but the luxuriousness of them is worth it if you have the money to spend.

Aspen is still better known for its skiing facilities but now that snowboarding has grown so popular it is welcoming to boarders as well.  Lake Tahoe is one of the most surprising places to most people which top the list as one of the best places to go snowboarding.  It is much more relaxing because you can avoid the big crowds and still get a good run on a fresh powdered hill.  It is much more relaxing here, perfectly for a nice quiet getaway where you can get in a few days of boarding without so many crowds.

You can also travel to France where there are some of the best snowboarding resorts in the world.  Tignes, France in particular is worth checking out.  Of course it is up to you where you want to go snowboarding.  There is nothing more amazing than traveling around the world and taking on one snow hill after another.
