Where To Salsa In Frankfurt
75Salsa Dancing In Frankfurt
If you are a fan
of salsa dancing and you find yourself in Frankfurt, Germany
then I would like to recommend the dance and disco club called Latin Palace Chango. It is a fantastic place which is filled from
Thursday to Saturday with people from all over the world who have all converged
in one place for one thing only and that is to dance salsa.
Actually if you
go to this club you will be able to do more than salsa in Frankfurt. salsa music. You will get to enjoy the beats of samba, the
lambada, merengue and many many more types of Latin American dance music. You name a Latin American dance and they will
surely play the music that you need.
It cost 8 euros for the entrance fee and only 1 euro to leave your stuff in the cloakroom. This was a nice surprise as the clubs in London like to make a bit of money from this and you can be charged up to £2 per item to leave your coats and bags in the cloakroom. No wonder so many girls decide to leave home without a coat and end up wearing next to nothing. They prefer to spend their money on drinks. And hey, once you are drunk, you don’t feel the cold anymore (LoL).
As soon as you
enter the club you will see the bar. I
would recommend that you forget about trying to get served there. The bar staff is either busy mixing cocktails
for the waitresses or they are very busy flirting and making sexy conversation
with the pretty ladies that hang out at the bar. (I found out much later on
that a lot of the pretty ladies hanging around the bar area were in fact ladies
of the night – the club is situated in the red light district - I ended up having a great conversation with one girl who told me all about a British guy she met who promised her the world but forgot to mention that he was married and wouldn't be leaving his wife anytime soon - oh dear.)
Getting a drink is fairly simple. Just grab yourself a table and a waitress will be over to take your order. As you are in a salsa club I would definitely suggest that you start off with a mojito. This is the perfect drink to kick off your evening of dancing. You’ll need all the sugar that this drink contains to give you the added energy necessary to strut your stuff on the dance floor until the early hours of the morning.
Live Music At Latin Palace Chango - Frankfurt
Where is Latin Palace Chango Night Club?
Latin Palace Chango night club can be found at Münchener Str. 57 60329 Frankfurt, Germany - +49 69 27220807.
Latin Palace Chango is open from Thursday to Saturday every
week from 8 pm onwards.
It is easy to
get there either by bus, tram, S Bahn or the
underground. Taxis are also very reasonable and if there is a group of you then
you could consider this mode of transport.
All taxis are registered in Frankfurt
and have to have a price meter on display so you will always know how much you
are being charged. The taxis that we
used all had SatNavs which was quite amusing since all London
cabbies have to know every part of London
without the aid of maps or electrical devices.
Does this spell the end of The Knowledge? (an intensive course that
would be London
cabbies have to take in order to qualify – they have to know from memory how to
get from destination A to destination B without the aid of a map or SatNav.
Learners can be found traveling around town on mopeds with little maps
attached to the front of their bikes as they learn all the different routes.
Slight detour there - Back To Salsa dancing in Frankfurt!

never though of salsa being popular in germany.
Very funny hub, liked the comment about the "ladies of the night", I've never been to Germany before, so I'd like to visit one day. I've been salsa dancing for just over a year now and I have to try out some of my moves in the new home of salsa in Germany :P
