Friday nights are our pizza and movie night.  One of the great things about pizza night is that the children make dinner -- including the crust.  For me, it's a night off!

Ingredients

1 cup flour

½ cup whole wheat flour

2 tbsp. ground flax

1 envelope  (8 g) quick rising yeast

½ tsp. salt

2/3 cup warm water

2 tsp. olive oil

2 tsp. liquid honey

1 tbsp. cornmeal

In one bowl, mix all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, ground flax, yeast and salt.  Mix thoroughly.

Mix oilive oil, honey and warm water together.  Pour this mixture over the dry flour mixture.  Mix by hand or machine until you can form a dough ball.  Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead.  Lightly grease a bowl and place dough inside.  Cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying.  Allow to rise in a warm place until it is doubled in size.  This may take 20-30 minutes.

When dough has finished rising, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface.  Form into a 12" crust by using a rolling pin.  Place the unbaked crust onto a pizza pan that has been lightly greased and dusted with the cornmeal.  Top the pizza with tomato sauce and other toppings that you prefer.  Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden and done.
