Why I Love To Write For Men Who Wear Lingerie
As anyone who reads my hubs will have noticed, I write a great deal of material for men who wear lingerie. Why? Because it's fun, because I think it is an important subject, perhaps not ostensibly but for the message which underlies it, and because the men who read these articles are, without a doubt, some of the loveliest men I have had the fortune to be read by.
Men who wear lingerie do tend to be more sensitive than the males, more aware of the way a female mind works. This is advantageous in relationships of all kinds. It shows in the way these men interact even online. Where writing about other topics will inevitably bring a slew of trolls, angry purists and general dissenters, (all of whom are amusing on one level or another), writing on mens lingerie, lingerie for men and related topics has been an almost singularly pleasurable experience.
The men who read these articles contribute and share from places they probably rarely get to share from in their daily lives, except in the case of the lucky ones who have wives or girlfriends who accept and support their lingerie 'habits'.
It is a pity that many men who wear lingerie feel marginalized and even more of a pity that some women think that a man who wears lingerie isn't a 'real man'. My experiences, both real and virtual, have lead to the discovery that there is nothing unmanly about men who wear lingerie, instead there is a multi dimensional depth.
Men who wear lingerie have had to question themselves. They've had to come to terms with a desire that puts them outside the realm of the normal. This process often leads them to be more understanding with regards to the foibles of others. How many people secretly harbour feelings or desires that they repress for fear of being judged. Women feel as much pressure as men to conform to an acceptable kind of femininity (in the case of men, masculinity). How freeing it is to experience a relationship where one can be what one wants to be, not what one is supposed to be.
That's why I love writing for men who wear lingerie. Because they are fun, expressive multidimensional creatures ready to engage in real conversation. This is not to say that men who don't wear lingerie are single dimensional neanderthals. Every man is different. However my experiences writing these articles have shown a lovely side to men who wear lingerie that deserves to be articulated.
