So you want to make money on the Internet, do you? You have seen ads and spam emails detailing how you can make thousands of dollars in a week or even a day....BUT....you have to plop down your own hard-earned money to get a position. Why pay someone to pay you? There are many, many, many opportunities available on the World Wide Web waiting for you to take advantage of them. The best thing about these type of sites is that you don't have to spend a dime to make money!

Get Paid To (GPT) sites:

These sites will pay you to do offers, read emails, do surveys, even play games. You might have to pay some out of pocket cash (offers and games) but if you were going to spend money doing something similar why not get paid to do it? Before spending money on something that you would purchase anyway, check out some of the GPT sites to see if you can earn cash back!! Some examples of these sites are Inbox Dollars, SendEarnings, Take the Internet Back, Cash Duck and Treasure Trooper (just the tip of the tip of the iceberg!)

Paid to Click (PTC) Sites:

These sites are plentiful, but beware. Some sites promise a large sum to click an ad, but rarely do they ever pay once you have made enough to cash out. The legitimate ones usually pay 1-2 cents per click and you can make more with referrals. It takes longer to make money this way, but hey you know how pennies can add up (I have a jarful at home now!!)!! Some of the better ones are BuxP, BuxForever, ClixSense, Bux.To, Clicksia and ThinkBux. Remember though, if a site is advertising that they pay $10-100 per click, be very afraid!!

Survey Sites:

There are a lot of ads that promise that you can make $50-$100 for every survey you take....IF....you pay $29.95 for their list!! However you can do a search on the internet for survey sites and sign up for free and start doing surveys for cash again without spending a dime of your own money!! Do these sites pay $50 and up per survey? No, but some enter you in sweepstakes for cash prizes everytime you complete a survey and some require that you do several surveys for awhile before they actually start paying or pay more. One example of this kind of payment is Survey Spot. At first I was not compensated for taking surveys, I was only entered in a drawing each time. After I had been a survey taker for awhile, they started paying me $1-$5 for each survey I qualified for. Then soon after that, they started sending me video surveys that paid $10-$20!! They want to make sure that you are taking the time to answer surveys thoughtfully and faithfully before they start paying you. Other great survey sites are Opinion Outpost, Your 2 Cents, Lightspeed, American Consumer Opinion, I-Say, Vindale and Pinecone Research. If you have an opinion about certain things, why not get paid for it?

Game Sites:

You can actually play games online and get paid for it!!! You can play games for free and acquire points, and then use those points to upgrade. Once you are a premium member, you might have to pay to enter game tournaments, but if you win the tournament, you win the cash prize!! Some sites like this include Paid Game Player, World Winner and King.com. However some are completely free like Winster and Moola!! Winster allows you to collect points and you can cash the points in for prizes. Moola gives you a penny to start out with and each time you win a game you double your money. You just keep playing til you get to your goal, or if you lose you start over. But you don't necessarily have to start completely over if you lose - you have the option of waging your entire loot (doubling it) or just set an amount that you want to win. Have fun and make money at the same time, a win-win situation!!

Referral Sites:

These sites require you to get referrals to sign up under your own referral link. You get paid a certain percentage of what the referral makes. A lot of the above and forementioned sites allow you to get referrals also and that helps you make more money as well (especially the PTC sites). The best referral programs are on "Freebie Sites" or "Incenitive Reward Websites" (IFW's). These sites require you to get referrals (as few as just one on some sites) to sign up on a site and complete offers, then you can use their completed referral to receive cash or prizes!! The catch is, you also have to complete offers as well, but if you sign up under another person's link you could get paid for that too!! There are several "freebie site forums" that allow people to advertise their sites and get people to sign up if they pay them for their referral. So you can make money in IFW's two ways - getting paid for your referral on someone else's site and then collecting referrals for a prize or cash. Some Freebie Forums are Free Lunchroom, Anything 4 Free, I Broke the Bank, and Freebie Society. Once you sign up on one of these forums, make sure you read all the rules and policy threads. Find the area where people are posting that they are willing to pay for "greens" and then respond to one of them. Make sure they don't have too low of a Trade Rating though, there are a lot of scammers out there. This is probably the best way to make a lot of cash quickly, but it is NOT a Get-Rich-Quick plan!!

Well, there you have it. Many ways to make cash for a rainy day by using the World Wide Web!! Be smart about it, use your referral links wisely, but just remember not to spam.
