It's good to see a page devoted to this subject. I used labor acupressure with my last pregnancy and it worked for me. I am now a big fan of this technique and it surprises me that it is not more widely known.

I just did an article on reducing labor naturally (http://hubpages.com/_1zscpj3dl41eg/hub/How-to-Natu and I completely left this option out. It's one that I don't know much about but it seems like a great way to naturally induce labor while taking your baby's health into mind. Thanks!

It's not a good idea to try and induce labor naturally until you are 40 weeks pregnant according to the experts.

Ladies

Never do anything to your body to induce labor before 38 wks !!!!!!!!!!! Your BABIES are still needing all the time to develop thier LUNGS!!!!!!! I am an OB nurse and I would never recommend doing anything that could harm yor babies outcome!!! I was reading this BLOG for my daughter to find ways to help hear induce her labor more naturally, and saw the lady above who is only 34wks and wants to induce her labor--oh my gooodness the issues that little one could have!!!

SO NEVER DO ANYTHING TO YOUR BODY TO INDUCE LABOR BEFORE 38 WKS!!!

Hi!

In the UK women are suggested to use maternity TENS machines to help them ease the labour pain. TENS is a drug free method of achieving pain relief that works by inducing the release of body's own pain relieving chemicals - the endorphins & the encephalins.
