"Preaching" has gotten a bad rap. Today it has often been ruined by greedy television "evangelists" pawning off their "preaching" to mindless masses who empty their wallets in hopes of that promised prayer for health and wealth. Most of it is hypocritical hog wash. They are spiritual salesmen selling their "sermons" like the proverbial snake oil.

But there are still real preachers. Men called by God to tell the Truth, preach the gospel, explain the Bible, rebuke real sin, reveal Christ, and point out the way of salvation. Most of these "favorites" are men I have known personally, or have heard in person. Some can be listened to via "streaming" audio, others can be downloaded in MP3 format. All are available to listen for FREE. If you haven't heard any real preaching in a while...give it a try!

Pastor Mbewe was born, raised, and educated in Zambia. Under God's blessing he grew a church from just 35 members to over 300.  He is a prolific writer as well, contributing to Reformation Zambia (he is the editor) as well as other weekly national newsapers.  He is married with 3 children and has been pastoring the Kabwata Baptist church for over 20 years.  I first heard Pastor Mbewe at a conference several years ago and now understand why they call him the Spurgeon of Africa. We met Pastor Hamilton while vacationing in Allentown, PA and needed to find a good church with which to worship on a Sunday.  He is especially gifted in his divisions and outlines of a text, creative alliteration, and Biblical application! The church is a member of the Free Presbyterian Church of North America denomination.
