Music, specially love songs moved even the most unromantic among us and in this time of the year, Christmas music fills the air. A song always uplifts the spirit as it makes us happy or sad. I have listed here best Christmas love songs which we all know have only one theme, “wishing to be with their loved ones during Christmastime“.

I decided to write an article about Christmas love songs today. This is dedicated to all those who want to be with their loved ones on Christmas and for those who love to listen to beautiful rendition of songs which warms the heart. I was inspired to go on a “sentimental trip” because of the challenge to Dohn121 by Chris A here at Hubpages. I was inspired upon reading Dohns article. I hope his wishes will be granted and for those who long to be with their loved ones, and for army wives whose husbands are in service and of course to everybody who has a loving heart. I wish you could all be with your loved ones this Christmas.

Also, I love singing, that’s one hobby you cant take away from me. Get me to a karaoke bar and the world is my audience, that’s in my mind. They wont see me next time anyway so why not sing to myself. When I am singing I do it for myself, at the house, the puppy will just sit in the corner when I start to belt out songs. I don’t know if my puppy is affected or not, but it continues to look at me then wag its tail, for approval, I guess so, otherwise it will hide under the sofa sometimes.

This is my favorite Christmas song. For all those lovers out there who will be missing their loved one because they cant be with them this Christmas, here is one for you. The Carpenters is always all time favorite but they nailed this one song. It is a good combination of “longings for somebody, and wishing to be with them, just dreaming is good to be with your loved one on this special occasion. Wishes, wishes do come true in this song of the Carpenters.

Here is another “missing somebody song“, It is a saying that you want your special someone gift-wrapped under your Christmas tree. It is another thing when you broke up during this time, then you will really miss your loved one. The man in this song is just missing his loved one who went away before the Christmas season and he is wishing they will be together once more, sweet. Chrismas wont be the same without her, he said.

Mariah Carey is known for his rendition of “Hero”, a song which makes her a worldwide phenomenon but when she sings this Christmas song she is really awesome, and the lyrics too.
