Creating Your Reality Based On Biblical Principles.

Updated on November 22, 2013

If I am Wrong then Who is Right?!!

I believe in one God, multiple Gods, and sometimes no God at all. I believe in Allah and the multiple expressions of Brahman. I believe in Zoroaster, Shiva, Jesus the Christ and the teachings of Buddha. I believe that God’s word is perfection in the Qur’an, as well as the Christian Bible. I believe in the Satanic Bible as well as the words of the Vedas and the Upanishads. I believe in the Kitab-i-Aqdas, and the Tipitaka. I also believe the Torah is God’s perfect word to mankind. I believe Satan is as powerful as God and he too performs miracles for his followers.

I believe God is everywhere, in everyone, and everything. I believe God killed His people with a great flood. I believe Allah will reward me with 72 virgins for killing infidels. I believe God caused the tsunamis of 2005. I believe God is angry and He allowed your child to die because He had bigger plans – and perhaps your child was in the way. I believe God punished America for her sins on 911. I believe God is punishing the people of Haiti. I also believe God is love. I believe my religion is peaceful despite its sometimes violent results. I believe Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. I believe Jesus was born of a virgin, He walked on water, and He was physically resurrected from the dead. I believe God spoke to Muhammad for eleven years. I believe Muhammad rode a magic horse to heaven and back. I believe Buddha points the way to nirvana. I believe I can talk to dead people and they talk back to me. I believe my religion is correct and your religion is wrong. On the other hand I believe all religions are equally right and wrong. I believe Jesus was just another good hearted prophet, yet I believe He died for my sins. I believe the end is near and the messiah is yet to come.

I believe Jewish people lived in New York 2000 years ago. I believe Joe Smith read gold plates using magic stones. I believe Moses parted the Red Sea and Joshua conquered Jericho. I believe God designed and created the universe but the universe now runs on its own. I believe God created evolution. I believe God is active in the universe. I believe God is an active personal God - yet, I don’t believe God exists at all. On the other hand I believe He does exist and He allows free will. I believe evolution helps disprove the existence of God. However, I believe macroevolution is a delusion and there is no value to delusions.

I believe God fixes basketball games, decides which teams will appear in the Super bowl, and plays golf. Yet, I believe God cannot be defined. I believe God will strike man down for his ignorance. I believe in freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion. I believe God and science are separate pursuits - yet I believe God is science. I believe there is great truth in all faith traditions but faith traditions themselves have no truth. I believe man is the product of a confused, emotional, and vindictive God. On the other hand I believe man is a product of himself, absent of God.

With all these beliefs is there a chance that I could be wrong, and if I am – then who is right – and who’s reality can what is right or wrong be compared to?

Perhaps I have all these beliefs because I am part of everyone and everyone is part of me. All our thoughts are shared thoughts – linked by a cosmic, spiritualistic telepathic source not yet understood by mankind. We all stand together on one side of infinity with each individual having a small piece of knowledge towards the truth. With this knowledge however, comes the responsibility of sharing that we may all someday, have the absolute truth. But order and oneness must first exist.

Throughout the universe there is order. Order in the movements of the planets, order in nature, and order in the functioning of the human mind. A mind which is in its natural state of order is in harmony with the universe and fellow humans. Such a mind is timeless because the outward expressions is a direct result of its thinking which leads to a sound belief system - for what we believe is an expression of our thoughts. We are the creators of our own universe because as human beings we are free to will whatever state of being we desire. God made us to be whatever we want to be. Therefore, we’re free to be whom and whatever being we desire through the use of our thoughts and our actions.

This is unquestionable power!

This power however, can be either a blessing – or a curse. It’s entirely up to the individual because the quality of ones life is a direct result of the quality of their thinking. Thoughts produce actions and actions produce results. The Bible teaches in the book of Proverbs 23:7 “for as man thinks within himself, so he is”. We must be conscious of what we are thinking because thinking not only becomes thought but persistent thinking on certain thoughts becomes beliefs, which breeds customs. Certain customs leads to pettiness, envy, greed, suffering, fear, and all other attitudes which cause unnecessary pain and discomfort. Of all the things in life we do not control, attitude and thought are not on the list. We have control over our attitude and thoughts. We can see the effects they have on those around us because each life is universally, psychologically, spiritually, and emotionally connected to each other. Therefore, our thoughts and our words carry with them certain chained reactions – like a stone thrown in a body of water. The body of water it touches first will experience the most impact but then it causes a wave of rippled motions which stretches outward to no apparent end. Our actions have the same effect.

If our thinking and our beliefs are in order our actions will flow directly from the heart of our shared values and truth, because we would be one with the universe and each other. If we want to change our belief system and our world we must change our thinking. For our thoughts determines our beliefs. Since we do not have the spiritual powers of God Himself then reasoning becomes our greatest tools. Isaiah 1:18 says “Come, Let Us Reason Together”. This simply means, let us settle our differences – together. Let us create an atmosphere of understanding which leads to caring, which is love. We must be selective in our beliefs which will allow us to monitor our actions more carefully.

Our actions, generated from our thoughts, subsequently become our reality. When we think of something, our subconscious mind takes notes. The more we focus on that thought the more memories we create which generate emotions. The more powerful the memories becomes, the stronger the emotion are. Once emotions are attached to memories they become guarded beliefs. Our subconscious begins to assign values to these beliefs and they become embedded in our hearts. We then become committed to the thought and act accordingly. In every instance and without judging or acknowledgement, these thoughts/beliefs will slowly manifest into our reality! Once this happen the line between fact and fiction, right and wrong becomes distorted and the truth becomes evasive. The results are multiple religious denominations – each having a fraction of the truth while claiming to be the remnant faith. They embed their religious philosophical doctrines on the hearts and minds of their congregations or respective communities thereby creating a belief system that is discriminatory and often void of absolute truth. Although they are reading the same gospels the interpretation however are miles apart, mainly because denominational doctrines are generated from personal emotions and are therefore given greater value than God’s truth – and they are much more tolerant of errors.

Perhaps we have all these conflicting beliefs because we are confused. We are confused because all our collective thoughts on religious matters have become our reality - yet, our reality has not been biblically defined because our thoughts are not in order – they are out of sequence with the universe and biblical teachings. Therefore, we have no biblical reality and in the absence of a biblical reality we’re left with a belief system based on emotions and void of absolute truth. We are therefore, left to reason with our individual conscious and if a miraculous event takes place by which we may get in touch with our spiritual selves, how would we know if we’re on the right track - for if everyone is confused then who’s reality can right or wrong be compared to? If I am wrong in what I believe then who is right? Unless we are following the biblical principles set forth in the Ten Commandments then our reality is nothing more than a delusion - and delusions have no value.

So, what are these principles? They are; 1) we should not worship other gods above the creator 2) We should not not take the Lord's name in vain 3) We are to remember the Sabbath Day 4) we must honor our father and mother 5) We are not to kill 6) We should not commit adultery 7) we should not steal 8) we are not to bear false witness against our neighbor, 9) we should not covet our neighbor's possession, iand 10) We should not covet our neighbor's wife (or husband). Although one can argue that the commandments may have been nailed to the cross and we are now under grace, absent of the law - one may however, have difficulties ignoring how these principles govern our daily lives and how we relate to one another - and the fact that every penalty for a crime committed is based on the violation of one or more of these principles.

With this in mind perhaps a strong argument can be made that the Ten Commandments belong not just to the Jews but all Christian denominations or Bible centered religions. Even among the Muslim populations the Ten Commandments are considered to be viable principles who’s historical roots are found in other ancient Mid-East or African religions. Therefore, perhaps the Ten Commandments are not a single denominational point of view, but a common heritage of the whole human race - absent of religion.

It is evident that every sane person on the planet knows right from wrong without needing a religion to tell them therefore, another argument can also be made that even though there is mention of God, the Ten Commandments are not really "religious rules" at all, rather - they are practical guidelines for life that have become so popular and stood the test of time for so long that people consider them divinely inspired! Nevertheless, whatever ones viewpoint is on the subject one can not refute the fact that the principles of the Ten Commandments are perhaps the bedrock for forming strong moral character, and the person who tries to live by these principles will fare happier in this life and the next - if one believes in an afterlife.

Therefore, for a sound conscious and to ensure that we are on the right track to universal oneness - in mind, body, and spirit, our reality must have its foundation in sound moral principles - and perhaps those principles are based on the Ten Commandments. In the absence of such principles perhaps everything else is simply emotional, denominational doctrines - and.....an ungodly reality!

Lets get back to basics - God is waiting. His reality is our ticket to salvation and no other reality compares! Whether one believe in a God, or religion becomes irrelevant, these principles are irrefutable towards building a strong moral society.
