Through recent developments in computer technology, McDonalds job applications are now being processed online in order to accommodate millions of aspirants who want to become an employee of the world's largest hamburger fast food chain. A great chance for career opportunity awaits at McDonald's. Statistics reveal that they employ more than 1.5 million people of 31,000 restaurants in 110 countries worldwide according to Wikipedia. McDonald's Careers official web page pronounced that they offer satisfying careers by providing flexible schedules, benefits and jobs either under the category of restaurant or corporate opportunities.

Further, McDonalds job application may belong to one of the six type of positions indicated in its official Application Page. These are:

1. Crew Members

2. Work Experience Positions

3. Apprentices

4. Work Trials

5. Trainee Business Managers

6. Head Office Positions

In completing job application, there are particular modifications that will be encountered by each applicant because of some unique features that were added in the standard McDonalds job application. Aside from the usual specifications such as:

·         The General Information

·         Contact Details

·         Experience and

·         Availability Details

The Question and Answer feature which is in the form of multiple choice makes it unique from a generic job application.

The McDonalds employment application has a multi-purpose. It simultaneously serves as an assessment of individual's character by reflecting the likelihood of doing responsible action. This involves a method wherein the applicant is being made to analyze or answer about different Mcdonalds job questions and certain fictional scenarios.

Therefore, if intending to submit a McDonalds job application, it is advised that an applicant must be available for at least half an hour or even more. This is to ensure the accuracy of each answer that is obviously vital for effective online application process.

If successful, the applicant shall proceed with the next crucial stage that shall involve personal encounters. During this procedure, he will be invited to a McDonald's restaurant for two purposes: first, for the On-Job Evaluation (OJE) and secondly, for the interview.

First, the On-Job Evaluation consists in already performing the actual job being applied for. Both parties benefit during this phase because aside from the potential employer's opportunity to assess the applicant's customer service skills, the applicant will also determine if McDonald's is indeed the right job for him. There is, however, an exemption from this evaluation process in the case of experienced applicants.

Second, the average interview process at McDonald's takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the position being applied for. Different interviewers are assigned for each type. Appropriately in every case, it may be the Business Manager, Hiring Manager, or the Operations Manager that handles the interview.

Different approaches are applied with some variations in selection and evaluation process especially in the case of management positions. It must be noted that among the McDonalds job applications, the one for Trainee Business Managers involves the toughest selection process since it represents a long-term career decision.

IF you preffer a different option and opt in for a job in retail, more specificaly in the clothing industry we suggest to take a lok at Primark jobs. However hard the reccession hits, cheap clothing moguls will always thrive.
