Front Pocket Wallets are Better for Your Back

I like discovering new products that improve my life, and I love providing real & honest reviews to help others!

My husband hates to carry his wallet in his back pocket. He says it’s not only uncomfortable, but it hurts his back because it makes him uneven, particularly when sitting. He has a good friend who is a chiropractor, and he told my husband that he has seen many people develop back pain and issues from their back-pocket wallets! Did you ever consider this? I can tell you my husband did not...until now.

And so my hunt began for a front pocket wallet. I looked in many, many places, but nothing was specifically a wallet for the front pocket. I ended up getting him a smallish wallet that has a money clip on the outside, and pockets and slots for cards on the inside. He liked it well enough and still uses it to this day – in his front pocket. Below I am sharing some of the great choices I came across in my hunt for the best and most comfortable front pocket wallet.

Contoured Front Pocket Wallet

Well low and behold - recently I was thumbing through a magazine and saw an ad for a front pocket wallet. The ad showed a picture of it inside a man’s front pocket (like an x-ray view) and it was specially cut to follow the exact contour of the pants pocket, with a curve at one corner. It stores snugly in the pocket contours and doesn’t create ugly bulges or wrinkles. The manufacturer claims that the soft satin leather that the wallet is made out of will form to the shape of the thigh. Genius!

Tip:

Another big advantage of carrying a wallet in the front pocket as opposed to the rear pocket is that it won’t tempt pickpockets.

This Dopp front pocket wallet is available in black or mahogany, has 3 credit card pockets, a utility pocket, an ID window and slot for bills. This super thin wallet has received many great reviews on Amazon.

The Slim Slimmy claims to be the thinnest wallet on earth - with a name like that I would hope it is!  Great choice for the minimalist.

Bosca Leather Front Pocket Wallets

Bosca seems to be a very popular name when it comes to men's wallets, and they have several front pocket styles and colors available.

These wallets have all received rave reviews from many buyers at Amazon - most say that the size is great and that the leather and construction of these wallets are top-notch.

These wallets seem to be made to last. Perhaps a great Father's Day or Christmas / Hannukah gift idea? Maybe just because!
