Richard Gutierrez is back in Philippine primetime TV via the Pinoy version of "The Mask of Zorro". He is back once more to prove that he is indeed the one and only King of the Kapuso Network.

We've seen him fly and soar as an actor in Mulawin. We were amazed with his fighting scenes and his duel character in Sugo. He made us laugh and crazy in Lupin. We symphatized with his innocence in Kamandag and clapped in his modern character in Codename: Asero.

Richard Gutierrez expressed how happy he is with the new project. It is the first primetime show of GMA-7 that is Hollywood inspired. It is also his first period show wherein everyone in the staff was required to study more on the history of the Philippines to make this project more interesting.

One of the most anticipated factor in the show is the reunion of the Captain Barbell loveteam of Richard Gutierrez and Rhian Ramos. The two teamed up in a number of shows in GMA-7, but were separated from each other last year. Richard was paired with equally beautiful Heart Evangelista in Codename: Asero and Rhian was paired with JC De Vera in the romantic-comedy La Lola. There are rumors coming out that JC De Vera and Rhian Ramos' are now more than just friends.
