DO PARALLEL UNIVERSES REALLY EXIST ?

It is great to live in 21st century. Like never before in written history of humanity, new scientific researches support us and inspire us to become open to the completely new ways of thinking and perceiving reality thanks to the new theories related to the creation of Universe.
The way how universe is creating is directly influencing our lives, our perception of now and future...More sophisticated theories about creation of Universe can certainly make us more tolerant and developed human beings, then we have been up till now.
Why is that:
Old hypothesis, scientific and religious were very determined, rigid, they did not allow people to expand. Scientific hypothesis of the past were to materialistic, while religious ones were usually based on knowledge of some sacred script written down many years ago, and due to that people did not have enough of scientific foundation neither courage to freely investigate new possibilities.
When theories about creation of universe are rigid, human mind becomes rigid as well.
Let us take few steps back in history in dark Middle age....

In middle age (16-17ct) two brilliant scientists - Nikolai Copernicus and later on Galileo Galilei (father of modern astronomy) had big problems with Inquisition because they observed that solar system is heliocentric, not geocentric like church tried to convince people. Galileo Galilei died with words "Eppur si muove" on his lips, what means 'nevertheless it moves' (referring to the Earth), what Catholic church centuries later finally accepted as truth.
In the period between Copernicus and Galilei, one another great man brought light of knowledge into the rigid Middle Aged world, that was Italian Giordano Bruno.
Where Copernicus' and Galilei`s system was heliocentric, Giordano Bruno's was theocentric. God, he said, "is the inner principle of all movement, the one Identity which fills the all and enlightens the universe." He expressed his conviction that everything is contained in this One Principle, "for the Infinite has nothing which is external to Itself."
"Nature," he said, "is a living unity of living units, in each of which the power of the whole is present." Nature may appear to us in numberless forms, but it must always be considered as united in its fundamental principle. Nature, therefore, must never be conceived as a creation, but merely as a development of this First Principle. Where, then, should we look for God? "In the unchangeable laws of nature, in the light of the sun, in the beauty of all that springs from the bosom of mother earth, in the sight of unnumbered stars which shine in the skirts of space, and which live and feel and think and magnify the powers of this Universal Principle." Bruno declared that everything in the manifested universe is in the process of becoming. He also declared that Space is filled with a countless number of solar systems, each with its central sun and planets. These suns, he said, are self-luminous, while the planets shine by reflected light. "
Do I need to mention that he was imprisoned and killed as heretic by Catholic Church?

Today we are many steps forward from that time, and science is uniting with some spiritual / religious concepts in searching more realistic ideas which could help us to find out where do we come from, what is purpose of our life in universe and what is creation itself.
According to the new scientific hypothesis today we are able to talk and think about multidimensional realities of our universe, or many universes existing parallel to ours...

Parallel universes in multiverse

Over the past few decades, the idea that our universe could be one of many alternate universes within a giant multiverse has grown from a sci-fi fantasy into a legitimate theoretical possibility. Several theories of physics and astronomy have hypothesized the existence of a multiverse made of many parallel universes.
"Scientists believe there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and we just happen to live in one of them. These other universes also contain space, time and certainly some type of matter. Scientists believe that these parallel universes exist less than one millimetre away from us. In fact, our gravity is just a weak signal leaking out of another universe into ours.
Greater dimensions
After Einstein´s theory of relativity, science just could not stay the same. It all started when superstring theory, hyperspace and dark matter made physicists realise that the three dimensions we thought described the Universe weren't enough. They assume that they actually 11 dimensions. They also came to the conclusion that our Universe is just one bubble among an infinite number of membranous bubbles which ripple as they wobble through the eleventh dimension." (BBC).
So it means that it is infinite number of universes...and that new ones are created every moment, all the time.

My own observations
.
Even before I heard about that theory, as a person who is very curious I started with my own explorations years ago...partially performed through various deep meditation states.
Of course I did not explore universe, but myself and life itself in connection with nature and while interacting with others.
Here are some of my conclusions:
1. Every one of us is living in individual universe, and are as the same time part of the whole. Existence of personal universe can be easily explained as uniqueness of life-experience and unique perception of each of us. Even when we communicate or live together, each of us perceives that on very unique way and at the same time we do influence each other, according our intentions. Everyone of us is living according to very unique rules, there are not 2 completely same persons, who would believe in completely same things. So rules in each universe - differ.
Nobody can see this world with your eyes.
2. The way how we perceive our world creates new happenings in the life and that world itself. Our perception is our consciousness (thoughts, emotions, beliefs, intentions).
3, Through our allegedly "simple life experiences", something much more miraculous is happening all the time - through this experiences we do create new parts of universe, or even new universes . Each of us. Some people call that - reincarnation. But is even more then that.
4. Not only humans are involved in the process of conscious creation of the world (or universe). All living beings are part of creation, and part of divine intelligence.
5, We do create in our dreams as well, and there have touch with another dimensions... or parallel universes, as you wish.
6. Life is ceaseless, neverending, infinite experience. Death is just transfer to other dimension, or other universe, as you wish.
7. What we call "God" is conscious, loving intelligence in everything and everybody what exists.
8. That intelligence is unconditional love, which allows all of us unique expression of our individuality through various life-forms and life-experiences, according to our choice, because we are part of that magnificent intelligence. Like individuals we might seem imperfect, but we are part of the whole where everything is in perfect harmony and in continuous process of change.
9. We are able to consciously transcend time and space and come in touch with core of creation. On that way, we are able to influence our past and future and change our lives, if we choose so.
10. All parts of this world are multidimensional, each of us is multidimensional being as well.

It is nice to know that my individual research does not differ of quantum physics scientific observations.....

Hi Tatjana: The observations you made at the end of your hub were truly amazing. Although I do not want to pick and choose but I would certainly like to highlight my favorite:

Since the time the process of evolution began, we humans have spent most of our time in unfolding the mysteries of universe; the more we think we are getting closer, the farther it seems. The other day I read an article which stated that traces of water have been found on Moon. Now this was totally in contradiction with the earlier theory that earth is the only planet having water. So you never know when some more universes (as you said) get unraveled before our eyes in our life time. Your hubs are awesome. I really fall short of words in showing how much I admire your talents. You are truly gifted.
He, he, Dohn, nobody can prove me that I am wrong, because my life and perception are only mine...
The other person can only see the life from different angle, so his/her opinion might not be same as mine... what is also OK... we all perceive the world on unique way.

Tatjana: This was a very thorough and thought provoking hub. When I was in my 30's as I was waking up in the morning, and decided to stay in bed for a little longer, all of a sudden I saw a field of energy with sparkles, and it was like a door... I sensed if I crossed that door, I would enter another reality. I didn't have the courage to do this. LOL! Interestingly, an online friend of mine after I told her my experience, also had an almost identical experience with the sparkles and door a few years back. Experiences like this and others has pretty much shown me that there is much more to reality than what we think there is. Your hub inspires me to continue being open to even more shifts of what I consider reality is.

Tatjana....how superb and true! Beautiful pictorial expression of the scientific and visual aspects. I resonate with so many of your personal perceptions. Especially the part of each of us having our own particular perception and reality. I also believe in the many different parallels and the significance of the spirtual body experiences such as in dream or meditation states. I believed we are unique, yet not separate, we are so uniquely connected and entertwined it will always be difficult to decifer between cause and effect.

Well, something similar happened to me once, but circumstances were not favorite, I was on public place and I was afraid...I felt another reality which was "one moment far from me" - I just needed to decide to enter,,, - it was all up to me to decide what to do.
When my friend was ill, wishing to dye, in her agony she met 3 beings/spiritual guides from three different worlds were she could transfer after dead. She decided to stay here and finish what she started.

Excellent Hub Tatjana. Parallel universes, parallel lives. It all sounds spooky. But what does it mean for me? If I am continually creating, then what am I creating? Am I assisting the universe and life or otherwise? Kinda makes one feel more responsible for our very existence on this planet. Thank you.

Dear Jim, we are all responsible for what is going on here, but none of us can emit only light and love 100% of time.
If all universes would be paradise, there would not be any uniqueness and challenges on all these worlds.
Just do not force yourself into biger responsibility then your responsibility really is , because you will feel guilty whenever you do not create "perfection". Nobody is perfect here.
But, yes, we create all the time....and it is not possible to avoid that....

My apology I thought that Jim had authored the Hub. but I salute you and add that I found it very thought provoking.
I once had a dream that took me to what I believed was a Parallel universe where I appeared to be a rival to my self for the affections, of a young lady.
Some eight years later I found that it was my brother who was represented in the dream and he had beat me out for the young woman's affections.
But the dream was vivid and very real.
This is a just a great community topic.

Great psychologist Carl Gustav Yung (student of Siegmund Freud) said that we always dream only ourselves, in different roles.
But I also came to conclusion that I also do dream only myself in whole my life...of course, in cooperation with others who dream only themselves and me as a part of them. The others (altough they live in universes on their own, are part of me, as much as I am part of their life. )
Your dream told you - that your brother just played the role you created for him in your dream....The dimension you entered is usually called "astral world", and is very real. And yes, it can be called "parallel world" if you wish.

Dear Sandy, life is not easy, our nerves and hormones play special game when we are tensed, which we sometimes cannot bear...that is the reason I use my remedies when I am down... Nerves do need something from "outside" to get used to relaxing and positive state.

Beautiful pictures. Many people have a problem dealing with the present universe.
I use Giordano Bruno quote in my second book as a preview of things to come.
“Innumerable Suns exist;
Innumerable Earths revolve around these Suns
in a manner similar to the way the seven planets revolve around our Sun.
Living beings inhabit these worlds.”
For that, Giordano Bruno, Italian Philosopher was burned at the stake February 17th 1600 by the Church. The first casualty regarding extraterrestrial life.

really great article! very interesting. there is so much I could share with my experiences. I have studied the past couple of years about consciousness, quantum physics, energy fields and have been truly amazed at how I look at and feel life now. I like how you explain about each of us having our own universe, quite interesting. certainly I feel sometimes I live in my own universe. I'm sure we have all felt this to some degree as it is so hard to try and explain to someone how we perceive something. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.

Yes I agree! It is human instinct to fear the unknown. Not all of our minds have evolved enough yet to accept these theories, and or, facts.

I agree that we will always ADORE to explore Tatjana. : ) But it does seem that we love to explore the unknown because existing in the unknown is the "UnOwned" : ) What I mean is that as humans most of us want more and more. We're all ABOUT discovering new species, most of the time shortly before we wipe them off the planet though unfortunately. That's our irony.
Well, I am very happy by being able to perceive this life as it is only one dimension among many existing ones in all these universes.
And I agree with you, by perceiving "humans" as collective, well, many of us "think" that we have more right then the others species to survive. But not all people think the same. There are "humans" and "humans" here...people also live in different dimensions...everyone in his/her own universe....

Humans are selfish creatures, because we each exist as individuals. We don't do things to support us as a group of people, or an organized structure for. Whether there are more than one reality we are destroying the one we live in. Fear has caused us to attack and kill each other for centuries. I wish we could find some way to work as a world rather than individual nations, beliefs, customs, and cultures. I can't imagine how much more progress we would have made as a society if we were to pool our planet's resources rather than fight over them.
Everything what you said is correct, Laneanders, but not everybody is the same. People are able to express the worst and the best, fear and love. If we keep focus on the goodness in human hearts we might help to this world to progress.
Well, we are certainly facing climate change soon, that will help us to change our ways.

If parallel universes are infinitie, how are they being created? I think they simply "are". Life is a strange thing. Maybe i'll be born as Master Chief when I die =P. Hehe but on a serious note, there's simply too much for the human mind to comprehend. We humans think there needs to be a reason behind everything, for example why was the universe created? Maybe there doesn't have to be a reason, it just simply is. Just a thought.

Hiya, I read this with interest. I do believe that we live in a multiverse, and somehow we influence the Atoms around us. Scientists have long ago discovered that when we look at certain Atoms, we actually make the do something different from what they would do if we did not observe them with our eyes.
